Old Town Apartments - Krakow

The apartment, located on Dietla Street, was well appointed and came with all the necessaries, including a basic cooking kit and washing machine. No air conditioning. A welcome pack was available although I cannot recall seeing this advertised. The public areas were well kept if traditionally drab. Noise carried up the stairway, but tenants well-behaved. A restaurant is on the ground floor and local shops very close by. The location was conveniently between the old Jewish quarter and the Old Town, with most attractions within 15 minutes walk or an easy tram ride. Several excellent restaurants in Kazimierz only ten minutes away.

We wanted an apartment in old town and we have got one outside the old town. This apartment was located in a building where there were heavy works. It was very dark and noisy. We requested to change it and we received one in the old town. We thank the old town apartment company for this change. The answers to the questionnaire concerns the second apartment. Not enough information about location of the apartment, the office and parking in Krakow.

The occasion for our stay in Krakow were plesure. We can recommand Old Town Appartement. Perfect site towards The Old Town of Krakow. The rooms were suitable for our needs.

Location, quietness and equipment in the apartment was great! The staircase is a bit putting off, but the apartment (Jagiellońska 8/20) is really a gem!so bright and nicely furnished! living area, bedroom, kitchen- all great,we even had a dishwasher there! the only problem was a temperature inside (was fixed when we called) but in the bathroom was cold all the time... And we wished to have more towels (we got only 3 for 2 of us). It was nice to go out to the entrance balcony for a smoke, there was an ashtray there ;) and you can see the top of the Townhall Tower from there, and of course to hear HEJNAŁ, a bugle call sounded every hour from the tower of St Mary's Church :)

The apartment was clean, large and spacious in a great central location. There was no lift, but this was not a problem for us. Agree with similar comments that apartment locations should be indicated rather than the check-in office location on Golebia St. Driving tips: If driving with a navigation system / GPS, finding the office could be tricky through the web of oneway + pedestrian streets in the old town. Also, one should identify the locations of secured parking lots prior to arrival.

Mail send 07.04.2008 To Venere/Peter, We have enjoy our visit in cracow and the apartment was clean, a good size for two and near the center. Just we have to notice that we have to live in the inferno off noice every morning. From 2 a.m. to 4 a.m. it was the young who was going home from the bar 'under' and that was ok, but from 6:45 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. have we a lot off noise from the machines the used to repair the street below! That the price also get higher per 1. april was just bad luck. Thank you Anne and Kurt Bømler Denmark

I have been to Old Town Apartments in Warsaw before. These apartments were much more modern furnished.

My only recomendation would be that Old Town Appartments have more photos of the individual appartments on the website, as the appartment we had was beautiful. The location was perfect, as was the appartment itself- really good kitchen, beautiful main roon, stunning views! thankyou very much!

Overall very good. However, the photographs on the website did not correspond with the apartment. The price was slightly high in comparison to the standard of the flat. The heating was poorly. The staff was nice and their English very good. The town was beautiful and we had a fantastic weekend. We'll come back.

La soluzione Old Town apartments è l'ideale per città come Cracovia. Ne ho provati tre, ed a seconda delle zone sono tutti più o meno in centro. La soluzione è stata eccellente, con appartamenti enormi di circa 70 m2, pieni di confort, con cucina funzionante, lavastoviglie ferro da stiro ecc ecc, insomma quanto di meglio per sentirsi a casa senza i formalismi degli alberghi. La cosa migliore è che abbiamo cucinato ed abbiamo condiviso gli spazi comuni i pace. Gli arredamenti sono ikea, quindi funzionali e moderni. Questo è stato solo l'inizio, appena possibile riproverò questa soluzione anche in altre città, visto che si sta diffondendo a tutta Europa. Infine l'aspetto economico è davvero conveniente. Aggiungo solo, che la sede riportata nel sito è dell'ufficio nel quale andare a ritirare le chiavi, quando ve ne andate le lasciate entro le 11 di mattina sul posto.

The aparments were very comfortable,well maintained and well appointed. The staff were very helpful and the apartment was right around the corner from the old town square, and a supermarket within a few hundred metres. The street as a little noisy at night with poeple leaving the small bar next door, but other than that I can highly recommend these apartments.

Great accommodation, staff very helpful, will definately stay there again on next visit to Krakow, and will recommend to friends, and travel agent in New Zealand

A place very near from the city center (just 1 minute from the Ryneck !). An apprtment comfortable enough but for 4 adults, a little too small for several days. Very clean except the entry of tne bulding near a bar.

Nothing special to note othet than that we had a lovely stay, the flat was cosy and stylish, the staff were competent, and everything went very well.

Appartment in excellent location on main square in Kracow. Very spacious rooms, furnished from Ikea rather than traditionally but comfortable nevertheless. Would definitely book again for a longer stay. Only problem was it seemed very expensive for Poland.
