This is a lovely and enjoyable family run hotel. I was impressed with their kindness, patience and courtesy. Although there is no much variety in the breakfast, the food is absolutely delicious. A place that I will definetely return to.

It is a very tiny hotel, even without a lobby area. I stayed here for 5 nights during the end of October 2010. The rooms are really small, so I would recommend it more fore couples than for families with 2 or more children. There is a kitchenette within the living room, which is also the second bedroom, if you are more than 2 people. There is no dining room or even a table to eat, so the kitchenette is more to make your coffee or thee, than for anything else. (Calling this a “suite” is quite a big exaggeration...). There is wifi advertised for the whole building, however, you better go upstairs to the breakfast room to get the right signal. The breakfast is boring but OK, the bread is fresh and you can make your own tea or Nescafe. There is a tank of Turkish tea and boiled water, and it is useful to pour some boiled water into your Turkish tea, otherwise it is too strong. Parking: Venere says that you can park in the same building, but it is ompletely false! You can park on the street though. Usually there is space, however, I was there after the peak season. Conclusion: Even if I expected a bit more because of the nice location and the provided pictures, I would still recommend this hotel, because you have a lot to see in Istanbul, so you will not stay in your room for long, and for sleeping it is fine. The only thing is that you have to be prepared for a tiny hotel with tiny rooms, tiny breakfast area with 4 tables inside and four tables outside, in the roof balcony. The outer area is not as nice as it is described by some other visitors, but it still adds to the possibilities, provided that you have a nice weather. When it is raining or cold, you might cue for your inside breakfast, though:(

This family style hotel is perfectly located in the old city. The furnishings are basic and a simple breakfast is nice overlooking the Bosphorus. It was great to have an ample bathroom and fresh towels everyday. The staff is helpful and fun to talk with. A great way for a family to stay in Istanbul.

Nice rooftop breakfast place with view of Sea of Marmara. Wonderful owners, very welcoming and were genuinely nice. Stayed in the Cappadocia (?) suite, with 3 people (one person on pull-out couch, two in the full/queen bed.) Suprisingly large bathroom, good kitchen. It is not a chain hotel with all of the sparkling new drawer and door handles, but it is clean and well-located (by the Blue Mosque and a short walk to the sea) and has a cozy air about it. And, again, the rooftop breakfast-- really made every day begin beautifully.

The Anatolia Suites is ideally situated in the Sultanahmet (historical) area. It is truly within minutes (walking) of the Blue Mosque and Aya Sofia. The pictures on the website are accurate in terms of the accommodations which are very comfortable. We enjoyed having a separate bedroom area which allowed for more privacy while the living area with twin sofa, lovely large desk with plenty of drawers, two chairs and wall TV allowed us to relax yet not disturb one another if one was having a nap or up early. The large bathroom is immaculate and cleaned daily, as is the rest of the suite. Although we did not use the towel warming feature in the bathroom, it would be handy during the winter months. The hair dryer is also a nice touch. A small basket of soap , shampoo and conditioner were provided and welcome when first arriving. The kitchenette portion of the suite includes basic cutlery and dishes, as well as pots and pans. I would suggest that a tea towel, dish cloth and dish soap be provided to encourage regular clean-up by guests. Although we did not use the hot plate during our short stay of a week, we kept juices, cheeses and other sundries in the small fridge. The lighting in the suite is excellent throughout, although I would suggest that the bedside lamps have higher wattage bulbs or else lighter shades for evening reading without having to use the ceiling lights. We stayed in the Pergamon suite on the second floor and it faces the front of the building. The street is very quiet at night and we enjoyed having windows which opened and allowed us to have fresh air in both the bedroom and living room. There is neighbourhood activity during the day but nothing untoward and you very much feel like you are living in a residential section surrounded by local residents. A small variety store is within a two minute walk and stocks a sufficient variety of goods, including large bottles of water, loaves of bread, cheeses, etc. to initially stock your la

Nice apartment hotel close to main tourist attractions in quiet area. Relatively spacious rooms. Also some negative points: Beds were too hard and the view from our room (Aspendos) was disappointing (very small and derelict "garden" and backside of housing/shops) The property has no elevator and therefore is not suited for elderly or handicapped people No plug was available for the bath tub, nor could it be arranged during our stay

Smal, quiet, clean hotel with friendly staff, close to old city. No luxury but cosy. The guest beds could be more comfortable and we missed a table at rooms. Nice view from roof where we had breakfast but the breakfast was boring!I realy missed a better breakfast. And don't let the young guy at hotel book a taxi for you on your way back to the airport. you can book a minibus to pick you up for half of the price he offers!

The apartment was good. The problem is that it is small for 5 people. The view of the blue mosque at night is impressive.

This hotel is fairly new and nicely updated. We had a quad room with 1 queen and 2 twins and plenty of space. It is in a convenient area - we walked to most tourist sites. It is a very quiet hotel - we weren't bothered by any outside noise. They also pick up and deliver to the airport for a reasonable fee.

This was an excellent hotel in an unbeatable location. Staff was helpful and spoke very good english. GREAT breakfast place on rooftop terrace. Safe neighborhood. If I come back to Istanbul, will stay here again. They arranged a late-night shuttle service door-to-door to Sabiha Gokçen Airport which was excellent, easy and stress-free.
