Hotel Apartamentos Lux Mar - Figueretas, Ibiza

The price-qualityrelation was good,but the walls in the hotel are not well insulated,plus the fact that hotels with prices like this on locations like this draw mainly young typical tourist-like customers,who get drunk and get loud on hours others want to sleep. That was the only problem I had with the situation.

The apartment is really nice and confortable outside there is a beautiful swimming pool and the staff is very kind.the hotel is 10 minutes walk from town centre. The only complain is about bedroom's cleaning. the waiters didn't change sheets or towels and they didn't use the vacuum cleaner,the only things that she did was only changed the waste bin...i had a goog holidays all the same...

Really near the beach and Eivissa. Postepay (Visa Electron circuit) accepted. Clean service provided every day.

Was there on vacation in low season. excellent position. There are 3 buildings : "panoramic","tropical" and "lux": Panoramic is the best one but also the most expensive. So we asked for a room in "tropical" building,as the rooms in main building are not as nice as the others (been there last year).Rooms clean enough and towels changed everyday.Microwawe oven in tropical and panoramic.Also a small terrace in every room.Guests are 90% young people voted to party nights,so it can be very noisy...but we weren't looking to sleep a lot,actually! TIP: If you want to eat an excellent paella go to "Cosmopolit",50m aside lux mar. Good prices and good quality.

Hotel consigliatissimo, sia per la posizione, sia per l'ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. La zona - Figueretes - è centralissima, infatti il porto dista 15 minuti a piedi e 5 in autobus, ed è ben collegato alle discoteche più famose oltre che all'aereoporto, alle Salinas (una spiaggia bellissima)e alla zona di San Antonio. Collegatissimo anche con Formentera: basta prendere un traghetto da Figueretes ed i costi sono più contenuti rispetto ai traghetti in partenza dal porto. Nel complesso è un hotel adatto a gruppi di amici, in quanto gli appartamenti non sono eccessivamente spaziosi. Lo staff è estremamente cortese e disponibile

If you want a quiet location, this is not for you. Short cut into Ibiza city involved walking over many, many stair steps up and down a hill. Be prepared to walk quite a while if you want to go into town. Surprised that there was a kitchenette in our unit. My reservation made no indication of this. If we were staying longer, I definitely would have made sure that we would be prepared to cook in the room. Free wi-fi in and around the neighborhood did not exist.

PLEASE NOTE WE WERE MOVED TO THE ROBERTO PLAYA WHICH IS NEAR AND PART OF THE SAME CHAIN AS LUX MAR we arrived at the Lux Mar which has a nice pool, but busy and lots and lots of rooms. They said they only had a room which was not very nice and wanted to move us to a hotel of better quality on playa d'en bossa. I checked out the room and it had no windows but was spacious enough. I think there could be some ok rooms there with balconies but that it would be better for young people as it could be noisy- good for meeting people though and close to shops, beach etc. ROBERTO PLAYA- ask to book here if possible, the man at the desk drove us there and we had a look at the room, clean, ok size, with huge roof terrace - communal but we never saw anyone else on it!Don't bother with the breakfast its tiny, staff are mostly very helpful and a good tip they let us pay extra to keep the room till our evening flight 40 euros. It was next to taxi rank, bank, grocery shop and beach so perfect in every way and just down the road from the bus stop to Salinas beach and walking distance to Macdonalds. Pool here is a plunge pool but you can use the pools (one roof top) of the other hotels which are a few hundred metres away for the Lux Mar and next door for the rooftop. Really very well placed. Its a simple, quiet, clean, comfortable hotel and very good value for money. I would definitely go back as its much better in all aspects than many of the more expensive places I have stayed on the island. Best thing for the price is that it has air conditioning. I recommend!

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Luxmar Apts. The only unsatisfactory aspect of the whole online process was that the number of people I booked for differed to that which the Luxmar were expecting (I booked for 3x adults and the hotel was expecting 2x adults). However, the staff dealt with this problem efficiently and effectively (particulary good service by the staff considering we arrived at 4am)and upgraded us to a 1 bedroomed apartment for the duration of our stay. Obviously this was less of an issue in low season as the Luxmar was not fully occupied - in high season this could have been a real problem - so would recommend that passenger numbers be reconfirmed to both parties on all correspondence (could find no reference to the number of passengers I booked for on my confirmation email).
