There was no coffee machine, and the kitchen was sparsely equipped. Otherwise, the place was just about perfect!

Our only problems were that the laundry room promised always was full of towels that the staff were washing.On both occasions we had to empty the machine and leave the towels on the top. Other guests had the same problem. We had a problem when all the key cards would not work which was not the fault of the manager but we were told to go out if we wanted and keys would be left in the boxes within the hour. We didn't feel we wanted to go out and not be able to get in so we stayed and they did take longer than promised. The emergency number to contact the manager did not include the country code so this should be mentioned in the e mail or on the notice in the entrance hall as we were not sure what it was when we needed to call him. He was good enough to order a taxi for us which was great as we weren't sure that the number given would understand English. The appartment was fine though there was only one wine glass for an appt for four so perhaps a check of the cupboard contents before new arrivals should be done in case things had been broken or removed. The cleaning service was fine and the garden was lovely. It was in a quiet area but would not recommend to anyone who has problems climbing steps as it is quite high up on the hill , but it was fine for us.

Very nice and quiet charming appartment in the amazing city of Gerona. However, the first "problem" which has to be mentionned is the fact that - because it is not a hotel - there is no front desk at all. We had to give phone calls to get our key, which was not really convenient. The second point is that the appartement is located in a tiny street which is not accessible by the road (for a car or a taxi), therefore you have a walk a few minutes (to be known if people have heavy luggages). Otherwise, everything was perfect.

We had a wonderful stay at this Hotel. It is located in a spectacular part of the city with fabulous winding streets to explore. Rooms are lovely, quiet and well maintained. Nearest groceries are a short stroll away. Arrived via taxi from the train station which was a good idea as it is a bit of an uphill hike with bags (and small children in our case), cobble stone route. Driving to, and parking near to the hotel might be very very tricky. Hotel is on an extremely narrow road. Garden area is fantastic. I would love to go back to this hotel!

We loved this apartment. It was spacious, neat, quiet, and in an excellent location for sightseeing. The only drawback is driving to it. Even with maps in hand and having driven to the parking lot previously, it is very hard to navigate to the section of Girona in which the apartment is located. But, it's well worth the driving hassle!

POsition and quality of apartment in old town is excellent. INternal lighting could do with reassessing
