We were lucky we got the best and biggest room. This premises has 2 buidings the old buiding seems to have bigger rooms, 1st floor seems to have the biggest rooms. Look for one near the back, the front can be a bit noisy at night at week ends. Ten minute bus ride to town ,choice of Three buses. Walk about 30 minutes to centre ,not a very nice walk, lots of traffic.Cake (Coffee) and bread shop 2 MINS. We found it difficult to find a gOod restautant in this area. Good meat etc to be found in the market in the leather disrict< open until 14.00, also coffee and food at normal prices ( not tourist rip off).

The '15 minute walk' to the town centre was over-optimistic (more like 25-30 mins), but we really enjoyed our stay here and the apartment was lovely - very comfortable and we felt very safe.

A good value apartment hotel room with decent kitchenette area that includes a sofa bed, along with main bedroom and shower room. Air conditioned and newly decorated troughout if a little bland and characterless (you'd never know you were in Firenze). The apartments are a little way outside of the historic centre of Florence meaning it's a 10min bus ride to FS SMN and then a short walk to all the sights. Otheriwse ideal place for families and there's parking onsite too. The lobby area has to be seen to be believed - kitsch does not begin to describe it; glossy marble, cherub fountain, the works!!!

Excellent clean and spacious appartment. It's all it said it would be. We did read feedback of others before us so there were no suprises. Our preference for lower floor and backside location of the appartment was honered so it was quiet and spacious. The AC did wonders on the 30+ days. As noted before, breakfast is the Italian way but who needs that with a supermarket and kitchen at hand. The caretaker was excellent with information and service. Huge thums up for him!!!!! We really have no negative feedback and would stay here again if we go back to Firenze.

The rooms were very nice and spacious, but the room-neighbours were very loud. The view was not that good, because there was a constuction site but nobody was working there. It was very near to the centre, we didnt need any bus allthough there was one. It was a walk of 20 minutes to the centre and trainstation.

It was so easy to hop on the bus #17 to get into the centre of town - very convenient. The apartment was cute and very clean - staff was very nice and pleasant to work with. Was one of the only places we stayed in Italy or Spain that offered free and reliable internet service (in lobby only but it was reliable). Only downfall was the noise - it is on a fairly busy and noisy intersection - we had difficulty sleeping some nights. Would stay there again, but would bring earplugs.

Our room was the attic with the sloping roof as our ceiling. So half of apartment could only be used by small people or bent over. Since there is no lift, I do not recommend booking this apartment if you have a lot of luggage or unhealthy.

Xavier.

A large apartment, that type of apartment that makes you feel at home. Very clean and comfortable. Hot water is good. Well furnished. Free internet. Two air-conditioning. A caretaker that lives in the building and gives you full assistance. There is a good supermarket in about 5 minutes of walk. Buses take about 10 minutes to take you to the historical center. Price was also very good. CONGRATULATIONS.

Compared to previous holiday-apartments we had, this was the best relation of price and service we experienced. We had an apartment in Lucca two years earlier without parking space and a lot less in room quality and space for the same price. It was clean. Well equipped with high quality furniture and very stylish. The service person as well as the owner took good care of us and were very friendly. Infrastructure is great. Many Bus lines around the corner, playgrounds 100m away from the house and another one in a big park (Parco delle Cascine, 10 minutes to walk), if you are with kids.

Very nice, very clean, well maintained apartment. It had a nice kitchen, modern bathroom with many amenities. There was milk and water in the small refrigerator. There was also cookies and snacks in the kitchen on our arrival. The room was very quiet with airconditioners that actually worked. There was a computer in the lobby for the guest. The man that greeted us was very nice but had limited English, although he tried very hard to help us. We were unable to find the laundrymat that he said was near the apartment. Overall, this was one of the nicest apartments we rented during our three week stay in Europe.

The apartment was about a 5 minute bus ride from the Duomo with the stop only about 25 metres from our door. We njoyed our time there as it was clean, quiet and close to the city centre for the price we were paying. It was what we expected from the website information

The apartment was spacious, and clean and catered to our needs. The apartment was far from the historical centre of Florence, however, it took one trip on the number 17 bus (and the bus-stop is close to Villa Lucrezia) and we were there. Some juice, milk and pastries were also supplied in the flat. Outside Villa Lucrezia there was a cute local fruit and veg market. We had some trouble with the credit card machine when settling the bill, but after a while it was sorted out. We would recommend staying here- good value for money.

We were particularly impressed with the cleanliness of the apartment and the friendly welcome that we received. The only downside was that there was no outside area or view, but you can't have everything!!

My wife my daughter and I stayed 5 days in May 2008 at the villa Lucrezia and we all were delighted. Real comfort, nice decoration and warm sympaphy made our stay very pleasant. We recommend the place easy to reach by bus from the center. An open door market on the square just across the road will provide you with fruits vegetables etc. Nice indeed.

This was a fabulous place to stay in Florence. The apartments are inpeccably decorated, beautiful, clean, and spacious. We felt like we were living in luxury. It's a bit of a walk into the heart of town, but the #17 bus in the adjacent piazza takes you straight into town, so it was no problem getting into town to see the sights. Intially, we had an apartment on the top floor, but we ended up switching to a lower floor because my husband kept hitting his head on the ceiling beams. The manager accommodated us and allowed us to move when a lower apartment was available. Our original apartment was quieter, but the second apartment had high ceilings and a charm of its own. If you need quiet, stay in an apartment toward the back; otherwise, the front apartments are a bit noisy with the windows open. Also, although parking is advertised, the lot is small, and cars have to park behind each other. So, we had planned to coordinate with other tenants, but it ended up not being necessary. In any event, it was nice to have our rental car in a locked, gated area for the night. One other perk was the computer in the lobby area, which was available for free use to the tenants. That helped us to keep up with e-mail correspondence while we were there, and I must say this was the only facility that we stayed at in Italy that offered such a free, accessible service. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to my friends. In fact, I would come to Florence again JUST to stay at Villa Lucrezia!

The apartment was beautiful and the staff helpful. There are grocery stores in the area, but they close by about 5:00 PM. In late August it's a bit of a challenge to find an open restaurant nearby. We were on the top floor and the wooden beams on the ceiling were lovely, but somewhat low for the taller men in my family; cooking in the kitchen would have been a challenge for them.

The apartment is in the residential area of Florence, and so approx. 25 mins out of the centre. We didn't find that a problem; it was good to be able to walk off all the lovely food we had! There is a lot of rush-hour traffic though and so it was quite noisy in the mornings. We had a warm welcome upon our arrival & someone was always available to answer any queries we had. There was one large double bed and a double sofabed. We'd definitely recommend this apartment & would stay there again.
