This is my ideal hotel in Florence. The rooms are well furnished, clean, and elegant. Nice art abounds. They all have kitchens so you can prepare an Italian style breakfast with coffee from a moka pot with toast and pastries. It feels as though you are in an apartment of a inhabitant of Florence rather than a tourist. Some rooms have views of the Duomo. When you step outside the hotel, there stands the Duomo and the Baptistry. What more can you ask for? While exploring Florence, we found that we could easily take a break from our excursions by returning to the hotel (perhaps the easiest landmark to find in Florence) and having some tea in the penthouse while looking at the Duomo or coffee from the Nescafe machine in the reading room. Marinella was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our conversations with her. Make sure to ask about the special meaning of the name of the hotel if you haven't figured it out by the end of your stay.

Excellent location right in the historical city centre - short walking distance to all major landmarks, decorated extremely. The apartment itself generous size, very comfortable,extremely quiet, very well appointed was just gorgeous, and so incredibly close to the Duomo and other attractions - the views from there were spectacular. I would expect to pay so much more for this location than we did. - MUST - when you stay in Florence

The Granduomo Charming Accommodation can comfortably fit 2 to 4 people in these refined and luxurious apartments in Florence. Combined with views of the city, the quality comforts and amenities of a private home offer a pleasant atmosphere throughout each apartment. Italian style is reflected in harmonious, soft colours, different brocades, wood furniture, stone and travertine floors. The walls are embellished with fine stucco works.

Facilities include individually controlled air conditioning and heating, electronic safe, LCD satellite TV, CD/DVD player and free high-speed wireless Internet connection.

All accommodations feature a cooking corner or a kitchenette with stovetop, cooking facilities and cookware, espresso maker, a comfortable living room or sitting area, and a private bathroom with bathtub or shower, hairdryer, complimentary toiletries, and slippers. Beds have premium bedding, cotton sheets, and down comforters. Complimentary cribs are provided on request and daily housekeeping is available.

How to reach Granduomo Charming Accomodation Vacation Rental

By car
From the North, from the A1 highway coming, take the Firenze Nord exit and follow the signs to Centro. Take Viale Belfiore, turn left into Via Guido Monaco and then turn right into Viale Rosselli. After the underpass, continue along Viale Strozzi (the name changes to Viale Spartaco Lavagnini). Pass Piazza della Libertà, continue along Viale G.Matteotti, pass Piazzale Donatello, continue along Viale A.Gramsci, pass Piazza Beccarla and continue on Viale Giovane Italia. Turn right on Via dell'Agnolo, right again on Via Verdi, then on Piazza Salvemini and into Via S. Egidio. The garage Duomo is on the right and the Granduomo Charming Accommodation is on the right of Piazza Duomo at number 1/7.

From the South, from the A1 highway coming, take the Firenze Sud exit and follow the signs to Lungarno Colombo. Continue straight along Lungarno del Tempio, turn right onto Viale Amendola and left onto Viale Giovane Italia. Turn left again onto Via dell'Agnolo, turn right on Via Verdi, continue to Piazza Salvemini and take Via S.Egidio. The Garage Duomo is on the right. The Granduomo Charming Accommodation is on the right of Piazza Duomo at number 1/7.

From Florence Santa Maria Novella train station proceed on foot until Via Panzani and continue along Via Cerretani to Piazza del Duomo. The Granduomo Charming Accommodation is at number 1/7.

From Florence Amerigo Vespucci Airport, take the shuttle bus to the Air Terminal located in front of the Santa Maria Novella train station. From there, follow the indications above.
