Gemini City Centre Studios - Florence

The hotel is an old and dusty place and the rooms are cheap and not romantic. Not a "vip" place to stay, even for few hours.

Very, very good relationship Between price and quality

We were without light and, therefore, unable to cook for 2 of 3 days. Having to leave the apartments and go to the hotel to fix the light. The second day it happened there was no maintenance to be light and cooking. We had to pay the extra for Internet connection

Friendly staff and nice rooms, however with windows just on the train station with a lot of noise in the morning. Location is great if you coming to Florence by train of bus. 20min walk to get to the city center. Fair price/quality.

The apartment was spacious, well appointed and equipped. It was on a busy street but traffic noise did not bother us unduly. It is a short walk from the main train station Florence, Santa Maria Novella and an easy walk to major sights and the commercial centre of the city.

Cramped with a single bed in addition to the double - ripped blinds -unable to adjust them, very cramped bathroom diswasher installed but out of order distance from city centre further than details originally indicated so a fair walk for restaurants in the evenings - hotel accommodation in the city centre was cheaper and would have been better

Great apartment with many necessities in a contained price and the vicinity to the center of the city renders it a choice sure a lot interesting

This place was excellent value for a stay in Florence, especially if you want to self cater. It is not right in the centre of Florence, but the centre is very walkable from here.

This apartment isn't fancy and it's not right on the main square- but it is cheap and it's clean and it's close to everything, including parking. I'd stay here again- though it's not tremendously charming.

First continental holiday for some years, selecting accomodation can be like sticking a pin in a page no matter what the web site says or shows. We struck lucky, visit in september so the weather was perfect 22 degrees sunny. The studio was clean,(the towels were changed every day,bins were emptied etc: and the bed made, which we did not expect) central, to all locations, directions from station correct. Staff were friendly and helpfull. the studio did what it said on the tin. clean reasonably priced, budget accomodation. the problems? no natural ventilation whilst out so faint smell, though not offensive (which dissapeared when the door or window was open for a short time), small shower cubicle so the usual problem of curtains sticking to you. hardly worth mentioning. we would very happily book again. Very suitable for us two middle aged couple seeking central, simple, quiet base to explore florence.

The apartment was spacious and clean, with a kitchen and fridge. Close to the art galleries and train station. The check in staff were somewhat curt and not as friendly as one might expect, but we would return to this location.

Convenient to station and into the city centre. Description for check-in through Hotel reception was not so clear. Warm welcome.

The hotel is OK, except for the shower, which is unconfortable and the whole badroom gets completely wet, besides the fact of being extremely dangerous because of the water. The carpet in the bedroom was dirty, so the first impresion you get is not very good.

Apartment Gemini City Centre Studios ADDRESS: Viale Fratelli Rosselli 55 CITY: Firenze We were disappointed with the quality of this apartment - worn, musky, and foul smelling. Two members could not sleep in the room due to allergies and the next day we asked to be moved. We were offered a suite in a separate building about a mile away -for the remainder of our stay for another 100 EURO..but the difference was worth it as the new apartment was far superior compared to the one we had originally booked. The only positive comment about Gemini City Centre Studio Apartments was the staff. They dealt with our concerns with respect and immediately assisted us in moving to another building and in a nicer [safer] location for a family of 4.

In fact we didn't stay at Gemini city centre studios and were instead at the hotel alumani nearby. The change didn't bother us and the hotel was very comfortable and the breakfast of good quality.

This apartment was exactly what we wanted - centrally located for the convention centre and an easy walk to old Firenze as well as clean and with the facilities advertised. We would have liked an extra set of keys so we could enter and exit independently but apart from this it was perfect. We had a great time!

Very basic, no frills but ok for the price

First time I decide to sleep in accommodation that was not as usual classic hotel room, well i should say that it was very good choice and good deal, the room/studio was very clean, spacious and with everything you need to self catering. I suggest this studios for families that want to save money from a very expensive restaurants in florence, and some times not either good quality. Couldnt be better.
