The room was very spacious, a King-size bed and a set of bunk beds! The bathroom was small, but such is to be expected in Italian cities. Everything was clean and the best part was WE HAD A KITCHEN! Furthermore, if you speak Italian the owners are very helpful and friendly. We had some trouble finding the exact location (make sure you have the street number on you!) but it is close to so many things in Ferrara. Highly recommended!

CASH only when paying (even if website states differently). Only have Italian 220 plugs; didn't test internet since didn't have correct plug. Fairly noisy due to being on a main thoroughfare but very cool (even with no A/C). There is a washing room, but no dryer. Staff doesn't speak much English, but there is someone on the premises they can call on. Staff very accommodating when I had to check out early. Bathroom tiny, shower just as small. No microwave, but excellent gas stove and full size fridge and freezer. Cleaning provided once a week.

How to reach Giovecca Rooms Vacation Rental
By carFrom Bologna, take the A14 or A13 motorway, following the Padoa direction for about 24.2 miles/39 km. Then exit at Ferrara Nord. Then turn right into via Eridano, and straight on for about 1.5 miles/2.5 km. At the second traffic light, turn left into via Modena, following the centre direction for about 0.4 miles/700 metres. At the traffic light in via Modena, straight on for about 0.6 miles/1 km on viale Po. After the underpass of the train station,at the second traffic light, turn left into viale Cavour for about 0.6 miles/950 metres. Then take Largo Castello. At the traffic light on Castello Estense castle, take Corso Giovecca. Straight on for about 0.3 miles/500 metres.

From the Ferrara train station, take the bus line 1 or line 9 and get off at the second stop on corso Giovecca.
