Soo unusual to open the big wardrobe .. to find a mini kitchen! We stayed for just one night, and didn't make any use of the kitchen, but it could be really useful.

Only problem with this otherwise perfect stay is with signs to find the place. Not for their fault, the hotel can not display signs where they woulod be most helpful...possibly call them to get indications (Q8 gas station will help much forn instance...)

The best hotel we stayed in in Italy. The best I've stayed in in years. Great place. Gian Mario, the manager, is fantastic. Free wi-fi, skype phone, beautiful pool, decent restaurant, gorgeous rooms. The only quibbles: it's not located on a hill, so you're not really looking out over a great Tuscan vista; and they were doing construction while I was there so that was a bit of a downer. But really, a "10".

Very nice place! We spent here two nights and we loved it. Even if it is located outside the city center it's only a 10 minutes drive to the upper town. Pretty easy to reach from the main road. The room was lovely, really nice view, nice furniture and a very warm feeling. Highly recommended if you have a car and you want to stay in a really comfortable place. We will definitely go back!

The hotel has HUGE rooms. The pool/bar area was a great place to relax (even though men and women had to wear a swim caps (in the pool, not the bar), at 2 euro each). They are adding 85 new rooms and completely redesigning the entire facility, except for the main new building. The drawings of the final hotel/spa show a beautiful result----in two years, but the construction noise and work-wall are not ideal. We used the tennis courts for some exercise, but at a 10 euro per hour fee.

Love the location, once we found it, but you do need a car if you want to visit the surrounding areas. Property plans for the next two years are extensive, I'd like to see it when completed. Owner assures that the name is going to be changed.

Located a few minutes from Cortona, this spacious apartment was a great value. The owner was gracious, the bed comfortable, the bathroom large and the kitchen a convient plus. We considered this resort a great value and will return again.

Mario, our host, was spectacular...warm, friendly, insightful. Winter is the slow season and we had Seven Cortona to ourselves.

I booked a standard double room and I got the appartment with a kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms for the same price. The place is amazing, rooms are spacious and new, the view to the Cortona town is astonishing.

This location is ideal for visiting the area with a car. It sits literally at the base of Cortona. So for sightseeing we drove for less than 5 minutes, parked our car in the lot and spent our day walking around the town. The rooms were actually small apartments, with all the amenities needed to prepare a meal if desired. There wasn't any breakfast included, but with the kitchen you can prepare your own. So it's perfect for families. We had an accommodation for 3 adults. It was 2 separate bedrooms,2 bathrooms, and a kitchen living room combination. the apartments are modern, clean, and comfortable. The bathrooms are spacious. There's also an elevator for getting upstairs with luggage. I also believe that there are disabled provisions. There's a restaurant next door with great food choices, and everything was delicious.. The pool area was large and inviting, we were there in spring and it was still fairly cool out so we didn't get to use it. The owner is very accommodating . He was extremely helpful, as our car broke down on our way to the hotel. He met us in town to help, gave us a ride to the hotel, and then helped us with the car rental agency. He speaks English perfectly. He helped make an annoying situation very easily resolved. I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends , and I look forward to staying here again myself.

I would highly recommend the Hotel Seven Cortona Resort for anyone looking for a clean and quiet base to relax and travel from around Cortona. The pool and restaurant next door are both great so there is always food, coffee and a place to swim. The staff at the hotel are great and so are the facilities - chrs.

My evals are in the previous e-mail which got sent too fast... Hard to find at night - few signs... The hotel was basically empty (only one other room occupied I think) because this is a summer resort. The poor evaluation of services & surroundings corresponds to that. No breakfast provided. However, the manager personally waited for us to arrive, and we appreciated that. Lee Hubert

Very good example of a new structure perfectly posted in the landscape. When all the works around the resort will be finished, it could represent the ideal place for visit not only Cortona, but also all the nice and historical places in the south-east of Tuscany.

I absolutely loved this hotel. It is small with beautiful rooms and a great pool area. The manager was really helpful. He even gave us a ride into town and gave a great restaurant recomendation. The only problem was the door would shake every time someone else closed their door but other than that absolutely fabulous!
