Apartments Turisticos Luna de Cristal were walking distance to all major attractions. The apartments would be even better if they had some outdoor space to relax. The receptionist Angela was very helpful, knowledgable and above all very friendly.

Parking happened to be a nightmare for us--leave your car at home!!!!!!!! P.S. I wish hotel clearly indicated that before we drove there... Otherwise it's a great pad. P.S.1 Also, nothing except actual kitchen is there to let you cook if you actually decide to do so (we had no intentions to cook, so it didn't bother us)

Lovely place; we had a small apparment looking on the patio but not on the square, it was lovely and quiet. Paintings, decoration etc were exquisite. The housekeeper (not alwas present) is very nice and helpful, she helped us to find a spot where to park (difficult in teh area). Each appartment has a different style of decoration, we visited 3 of them and they were equally nice. The location also is great, in a pedestrian area but not in the middle of the most touristic zone. To buy fresh strawberries on the nearby farmer market and have them for breakfast was great. Our teenagers appreciated the place where they used to make a break in the day. To be noted: the wifi did not work in our appartment, we had to go down to the patio to use it.

The room & staff were great although there was no door dividing the bedroom from the living area and access to the bathroom was through the bedroom. Staff were absolutely excellent very friendly and helpful. Only problem was the bar in the square, our room faced the square at front and the bar got busy around 11pm and not quiet until about 2.30am, couldnt possibly sleep, so great if you are likely to be out drinking there yourself, but not great inside with young children trying to sleep. Download & print a route to the square,if driving as one way system and narrow rds make driving v difficult. Beautiful town.

loved it, not in a tourist spot so great to sit and drink with the locals of a night but only a 5 minute walk to the attractions..

The website says there is parking available which is far from the case. The parkng problems marred an otherwise excellent stay.

Lovely decoration with flair. Overall a very good place to get a real Cordoba-feeling if you do not want to stay in a standard hotel. Right in the middle of things, that means you feel part of the city. At times a bit noisy. Appartment kitchen small but equipped with everything you need. Conveniently located for sightseeing on foot and within easy reach of many different restaurants. Highly recommendable for a short stay. Not very easy to find if you use your cars navigation system and approach from the opposite side of the city. Try first to get as close as possible by using the big roads and only then get the navi to direct you to the actual address.

The apartments are located in a converted Moorish home. You step out of the Plaza de las Cortes, and into the foyer to a coolness and tranquility heightened by the internal courtyard. All lower apartments open onto this courtyard and on the upper floor, a balcony overlooks it - very nice to come home to after a day or night out. The apartments are very close to a major square (Plaza de la Corredera), supermarket, shops, cafes and restaurants. It's an easy walk to the main pedestrian mall and many historical sites. Be sure to check on opening times for some sites as they vary quite a bit. We found La Cazuela to be a popular and well-priced restaurant nearby. A Flamenco Festival was underway when we stayed here. If you want something quieter, ask for an apartment that doesn't face the square. We didn't mind at all!

The location of the hotel is great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are amazing! The decoration, the arab style, everything. It was a great experience and we have no problems at all.

The highlight of our Andalucian trip! I immediately felt like I'd stepped into an Arabian tale when I opened the door into the candle-lit, perfumed courtyard of this small yet welcoming guest house. The room itself was very clean, but what struck me the most was the decorator's attention to detail: the painted terracotta sinks, the votive lamps, the small urns, and the woven upholstery were all delightful to behold. (Btw: all items in the room are for sale!) I loved the rainshower in the bathroom as well. And while the place itself was quaint, it also had modern facilities like high-speed wifi. It is also situated on a small picturesque square behind a larger Plaza, perfect for moonlit walks through the charming Jewish quarter of Cordoba. Overall, the apartment held the prize for best value for money. I will most definitely come back to Luna de Cristal and recommend it to others!

These apartments have great atmosphere. Our family loved the Arab style courtyard with plants. The staff (Veronica) was very attentive and helpful. We were lucky to have a room ("al Cazbah" with windows and lots of light, since I think some other rooms only had windows on the internal courtyard. The drawback however was the noise from the nightlife in the area, esp. the from the cafe in the front plaza and the people walking down the alley way next to our 2nd floor room. Perhaps the windows need better soundproofing to avoid this, as it felt the voices were almost in our room. The bathroom was small but functional, and you have to make sure you use the shower carefully as there is no shower curtain. The rooms were nicely decorated, but the bedroom area could use some brighter light for reading. A closet outside the room had useful supplies like an iron, foil, and extra toilet paper. The dining table gave us ample room to eat the breakfast we brought. We would return to this hotel if we were in Cordoba again, and we would request the same room probably.

This was a real find. The patio (courtyard) is so pretty and full of plants. The apartment was very attractively designed and furnished. The square in which it is located was quiet, just behind the big square (like the Plaza major in Madrid) and next to the indoor food market. This produced noise when the bin lorry came each evening to take away the full bins, as did the the little children arriving and leaving the kindergarten in the church on the other side. Neither was annoying however. Cordoba had wonferful buildings to visit and good restuarants. The staff were particularly helpful even calling us before to check on our arrival time.

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. The woman who welcomed us, Veronica, could not have been nicer or more helpful. She was terrific! Our ONLY complaint is that is is billed as a quad, and one of the beds is a foldout couch that is not really all that comfortable for two adults. In spite of that drawback, we would definitely come back! Everything else about the apartment was wonderful. I will add for future travelers that it is VERY difficult to find... but worth the hassle!
