Residence Como is quite a bit away from Como, belying it's descriptor name. Chiasso is actually in Switzerland and the Italian side of the border is substantially seedier. Being adjacent to the Chiasso rail yards there is quite a bit of noise externally. Internally the apartment was well equipped for extended stays. The owner/manager Alberto was extremely helpful and friendly, even dropping off some fresh bread rolls on one occasion.

The apartment was a little hard to find at first, but was very clean and new. The rooms were spacious as well as the bathroom and the price is an excellent value. We were located about 5 minutes (drive) from Como's town square.

Our stayed in this residence was great. Alberto is a very kind and helpful person and the apartament is very-well equipped, cosy, really comfortable and well located from the tourists sights. If we had to come back again, we would undoubtedly stay again at this place.

Residence Como features 7 apartments of 43 sqm.Two apartments are studios, composed by one room with sofa-bed for two people, two single sofa-beds, a bathroom and a cooking area.
Five apartments are one-room apartments equipped with sofa-bed for 2 people and cooking area, and a loft area with a double bed and bathroom.
All lodges are soundproofed and are equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, hairdryer, heating and high speed Internet connection.
