fantastic panoramic views from our balcony, worth the effort to climb the steep hill from Cavtat. Medium sized supermarket very close by

The apartment's balcony has wonderful views over the bay across to Dubrovnik. However it is very close to the road from the airport to Dubrovnik, hence much traffic noise. (Also under the flight path!) It was up a very steep hill out of the town, but the kind owners are very happy to taxi you up the hill if you call them from half way up. However you are close to the supermarket on the main road. The cooking facilties and utensils were very limited. There is no door between kitchen area and bedroom, so the fridge motor could be heard whenever it kicked in. The details said various things were available, eg breakfast in the restaurant, but that does not happen in September! No table tennis, or indoor pool, but nice outdoor pool.

I was attending a conference at the Hotel Croatia, which is located at the other side of Cavtat. My apartment was away from the main town, but in an excellent location and within an easy walking distance both of the centre of Cavtat and of the conference. The apartment is set back from the coast and has superb views and is in a peaceful location. The owners offer transfers between the apartment and the centre of Cavtat which, if needed, are very helpful.
