Very good 4 star hotel for this price. Hotel has big and clean rooms but a public areas could be better organized (only one computer for internet access). It has own closed parking space which we found very important in a big city like Catania

Un hotel de 4 estrellas, muy mal situado, una habitación fantástica, hasta que se abre la ventana. Vistas a un patio que da miedo. La entrada principal del hotel preciosa. Es como adosar un hotel de 4 estrellas a una chabola, no hay ningún restaurante ni servicios cerca. Aún así,si se tiene coche,como base para ir al Etna, merece la pena una noche.

Really nice hotel inside although the photos on the site are a bit misleading - the hotel is surrounded by run down apt blocks and the surrounding streets were very shabby with litter everywhere. There was only one member of staff (on reception) who was very nice and friendly. The hotel room was very clean and the bathroom beautifully fitted. A bit odd to have a microwave and cooker in the bedroom though!! About a 10 min walk away there was a main street with a bar and a couple of restaurants although the walk there wasn't exactly picturesque! Handy place for a night stop over before an early flight from Catania although next time we'd probably stay in Taraomina and make an early start the next day!

How to reach Villa Cibele
From Catania Fontanarossa AirportBy bus: take the Alibus n°457 and get off at Via Etnea (Piazza Stesicoro) stop; change to bus line n° 4 or 7 which will take you to Via Cibele, only 50 metres from the hotel.
By taxi: a ride to the hotel takes approximately 20 minutes and costs around €20,00-25,00.
By car: follow the signs to Tangenziale Ovest in direction Misterbianco-Circonvallazione, exit at Circonvallazione and follow Villa Cibele signs.
From the train station
By bus: take the bus line n° 4 or 7 and get off at Via Cibele, just 50 metres from the hotel.
From the Palermo/Catania and Messina/Catania highways
Proceed until the Circonvallazione exit, then follow the signs to the hotel, which is located around 100 metres from there.
