The gourmet restaurant, La Perla, is located in the manor house and has recently been distinguished as one of the best restaurants in Portugal by the Portuguese Academy of Gastronomy. It uses mainly vegetables and herbs grown in the surrounding gardens. Dinner is served from 7 PM to 10 PM.
The alfresco buffet restaurant Galeria offers a generous breakfast and Italian and Portuguese specialities. The extensive breakfast buffet is served from 7 AM to 10:30 AM; lunch is served from noon to 2:30 PM (only on weekends); and dinner from 6:30 PM to 10 PM.
The Thai Lounge complements the holistic well-being offered by the brand new spa and wellness facility. Dinner is served from 6:30 PM to 10 PM.
Quinta Splendida Wellness & Botanical Garden also features 2 bars: The Globe, serving cocktails, and the poolside Siddhartha Bar. -

Often no running hot water for shower and shaving. Less hot water if other occupants in immediate area. Hot water finished by 8.30am. Breakfast and meal prices far too high compared to excellent restaurants in vicinity, much better to eat-out. Car-hire fairly expensive and cash only. However hotel grounds very pleasant. Reception staff very pleasant but often too busy.

A very well designed hotel beautifully landscaped into the surrounding area. Lovely gardens well kept. Staff very friendly and well trained. Gourmet restaurant La Perla deserves it's reputation. Would certainly like to return to Quinta Splendida.
