OK: Big rooms, good location, full equipment, good price, clean. Less OK: Expensive parking (13EUR/day), quite invisible advertisement on the street that this is it: I was passing by twice this object before I recognized that this is here :)

Area is seedy and did not feel safe. Hostel is below the apartments making for a loud, rowdy, party atmosphere and music pumping till 5am. Yelling & screaming throughout the night is heard clearly with courtyard windows closed. Staff is unfriendly and unhelpful. We were told cash payment was the only option. We might as well have been staying in the hostel as the environment was the same and the apartment only slightly better. Towels are minimal, no face cloths or hand towels. No soap at the toilet sink. Washing machine did not work properly leaving the load sitting in water at the end of the cycle. Beds are the worst we've slept on - a folded down futon was the main bedroom bed & bolster pillows were stained and dirty. The only positive is it's proximity to the main sites - they are a walkable distance away from this location.

WE've been in the junior suite and I have to say that it's better than it looks on the pictures! The price is really excellent for a place like that: nice apartment with all the comforts, reception 24/24, perfect position either if you want to go sightseeing during the day or want to have fun in the night

This hotel has already received many positive reviews on the Internet and I'm happy to confirm this. There was a lovely clean smell all over and the rooms were very nice with excellent facilities. Two gripes - one, the springs on sofa bed in the sitting room on which my children slept were really noisy, and, two, there was a lot of noise in the streets made by some local drunks at around 4:30 am on both nights of our stay which was a bit of a pain. It might also be a good idea if the owners were to install blinds to block out the light as in June people who are used to having shutters at home end up sleeping badly. Otherwise, everything else was excellent including location, value for money, helpfulness of staff, facilities, decor and cleanliness. Go for it unless you're a very light sleeper.

The site of the place is absolutely perfect, all important places could be reached on foot. The members of the staff were very friendly and always tried to help. The bedroom in the apartment was a little bit too small without any possibility to store one's luggage. The apartment included a separate toilet, which was absolutely too small. Furniture was quite ok, perhaps there were not enough glasses, cups etc. All in all, the place can be recommended to all people who want a comfortable place in the centre of Budapest without having to pay too much. We liked the stay there.

Fantastic. After some weeks on the road in Europe it was wonderful to have more space than a hotel room and to have the opportunity to use a washing machine. Very comfortable. We arrived late in the evening but were able to access easily. Very close to Opera House and in a good, safe area of Budapest. Would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay on Opera. The apartment was big and clean. The hotel was very close to Opera building and underground. The shuttle service from the airport was excelent too. As we were leaving Budapest very early in the morning, they requested a taxi for us, that was very nice. The only problem was that wifi in the didn't work. But they allowed me to use wifi in the recepttion with no charge. The last thing was that the towels were old, they should replace them. we certainly recomend this hotel.

its like one of those hostel apartments which are nicely done for a good nights stay. Not much to offer in terms of breakfast(though they will bring you the same from a cafe outside), or other luxuries but more of lodging place which provides fully equipped kitchen and large living room apart from the bedroom. Just behind opera station and 5 min walk from basillica. The hostel has extra levels of security and looks isolated if its gets late(after 8 PM).

Fantastic location as only round the corner from the Opera House. Very spacious well equipped studio flat. Numerous shops, some open 24 hours to buy food when we arrived Saturday evening. Will stay there again when we visit Budapest.

Lovely stay - the apartment overlooks a pretty courtyard garden. An initial plumbing problem was fixed amazingly quickly: I wish the plumbers in Australia would be as speedy! Only minor complaints prevented a top score: only two medium sized towels and no bath-mat; no towel rack in the bathroom; and no clothes pegs. The staff at the hostel downstairs are very friendly and helpful. The area is very nice and there are lots of little restaurants and cafes within walking distance.

After travelling for several weeks around Europe, this was an ideal place to reorganise for the final part of our vacation. It had all the facilities that we needed which we could use to suit our needs and timetable. The young staff were very helpful and there are various places to eat or to provide for self catering in the immediate vicinity. It is convenient for visiting the main tourist sites and particularly for going to the Opera House which is an experience that should not be missed.

The positives: great location in the Opera district, very helpful and friendly staff, manager willing to negotiate and compromise when we complained. The negatives: the cleaner had not taken out sheets from the washing machine, nor the mop from the toilet. This resulted in a disgusting smell through the flat. The dishwasher and general cleanliness of the rest of the flat was poor. Eventually the manager did sort the situation out and got our clothes washed so there was some compromising which was good to see.
