Résidence Mer Et Golf - Anglet, Biarritz

Internet (wifi) only in the so-called "lobby", our room (appartment) was spacious, but all in all it's a rather sleazy old building which had its best days a 30 years ago. if you want to go to biarritz and you got no car you're lost.

The rooms accessible with venere price are only some in front of the green in any case those in front of the ocean! Nobody told us! You have to pay an extra for it, around 12 euros more per day! The decoration should be better, it s a litlle bit old and cold! The bed are ....not very good and I m polite! More place to organize clothes, wallet, luggages will be appreciate! The entry is not nice, the breakfast is expensive. My general experience was good but this residence must make some changememts! Standing too low for price too high!

Muy buena unidad aparthotel y confortable.

Habitaciones comodas y espaciosas , cama grande y dos literas si se viaja con niños , también tiene una pequeña cocina equipada . Esta muy bien para ir de paso o pasar dias de turismo en la playa. La Decoración es un poco antigua , pero la habitacion esta limpia y es tranquila , tiene terraza , las traseras dan al campo de golf y la delanteras al mar, cualquiera de ellas está bien

This hotel (if you get a room with an ocean view) has a 5 star view, but is a 1 and a half star room. The bathroom was so bad that my wife did not even take a shower before leaving the hotel the next morning. If you just need a bed to sleep in and have set your expectations low the room is okay. However, the location is great and the view is awesome. You need a car to drive into Barritz - but it is only a couple of minutes away. The price was not bad, but overall it is far from a 4 star hotel as they advertise it to be. Good luck.

A four star Residence which was falling apart and so tiny you bang your head going to the bathroom on the water heater. No lift, and a little sliding disgusting outside stair. Very disappointing. One of my daughter had to take a cold shower because the Residence is so stingy. And we begged to get a second roll of toilet paper. The only thing worth it was the nice view on the golf!

Ask for golf view room - much quieter. Seas view has lots of traffic noise.

The hotel is located in Anglet rather than Biarritz (which is about 15/20 minutes walk), but you have access to beaches all along the coast, even if it's not obvious from the the road. Clientele is mixed with no problems. We would definitely return to Mer et Golf self-catering as location is excellent and accomodation was excellent value for money. Everyone was really friendly in the area too.

We were 4 people in an appartment and it was a bit of a squash but could have been far worse. The main problem was the chambermaids didn't seem to pick up on this and only ever left 2 towels when they came. we checked out late & they didn't mind, altho it may have just been because it was still fairly quiet at the hotel.
