This was our second stay at Le Rondini for my husband and me. This time my cousin and her husband stayed with us. The owners of Le Rondini gave us all a very good service. It is only 10 - 15 minits to walk to the center of Bergamo.

The room was great - even had a washing machine. The host was very obliging - drove us to the old city, and to the train station at 6.30am. Left us delicious home made cake and custard in our room. We were overwhelmed by her generosity!!

This was a lovely stay for my friend and I. Luisa our host did so much outside of the box for us. Pickup, welcome morning tea, and even picked us up when we phoned to say we were lost. Both her and her husband and helper where friendly and helpful although we had no Italian and they had very little English. Well worth the stay.

Very nice B&B in a nice city. The house was located 20 minutes walk from the city center and with convenient transport from the airport. Excellent breakfast, good rooms and really helpful people who runs the place.

The place was very nice, the senora extemely helpful, we arrived quite late and were given food AND a bottle of vino, taken to the railway station next morning including stopping at an ATM machine, all for no extra charge, we offered and she refused. We were enroute to Lake Como, wish we had stayed a couple of days. Just a note to travellers, don't get a taxi from the airport 20 euro,s ripoff, for about 5 minutes, take the bus 1.79e and then get a taxi from the railway station

Even though the train is close, they are primarily electric trains and you cannot hear them. It is like being in the country, very tranquil. Communication can be difficult if you don't have Italian but Luisa is a marvellous hostess and her guide of places to eat was fantastic and we would certainly go back again.

This was an oasis in the series of hotels and inner city accommodation on our travels. The semi-rural and homely setting were real positives. Even more so was the friendly owner Louisa who was very helpful and enriched our stay. Hardly noticed the nearby trains.

The train that runs behind is nowhere mentionned. That is the reason I gave a 4 for quietness of rooms. Other than that we enjoyed the stay with the good breakfast service and the friendly host

Signora Luisa made us most welcome, and went out of her way to ensure that we got the most out of our short stay. The accommodation was very comfortable & clean, and the breakfasts were a delight. There were lots of guidebooks & information leaflets in the bookcase, but S. Luisa also printed out train times for us when we asked about a trip to Lecco (well worth it). The adjacent railway line wasn't a setback, as the trains didn't run through the night. As we enjoy walking, we explored parts of the town that we hadn't seen on our earlier visit, as well as once again making very good use of the excellent local bus & train services. Bergamo is a fascinating place, in a beautiful area, and you couldn't wish for a better hostess than Signora Luisa.

The rooms were very quiet except when the Milan express train passed by at 6:00am - the accomodation was 20 metres from a train line. Apart from that it is was perfect!

We stayed in a lovely clean room with seperate eating/living area and shower room. We had some trouble finding the place, but once we did we received a warm welcome and were made to feel at home right away. The breakfast was great and the people were very helpful. The only downside were the trains nearby which started running quite early in the morning. The night was nice and quiet though.

On arrival at the train station do not expect to just hail a taxi. you need to call one by phone on the tel no quoted on the sign outside entrance to station. they do not speak english! the owner of the B & B does not speak english either so when she told me that her husband was on his way to collect us from the station (in italian) i did not understand and just caught the taxi. we arrived to find her looking confused because she sent her husband to collect us!! so just call her from the station and wait 10 - 15 min. for a nice little man in a little car with a the name of the B&B on a cardboard sign. Free pick up! they were lovely hosts and even delivered us free of charge to the airport the next morning. Wonderful value.

Louisa, the owner/manager welcomed us. Excellent. Provided various brochures (in English), recommended best routes to the places of interest, was very courteous and of great assistance. The only negative comment was that our balcony railings and flower pots contained mostly dead plants / flowers. A few colourful red geraniums in pots would have been so much better. We had a very successful first visit to Le Rondini (Bergamo) and a most enjoyable use of a very spacious apartment. Thank you.

Le Ronde was delightful. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped. Just outside our door was a patio with table and chairs over looking a beautiful yard. Maria, our hostess, was charming and, despite our language differences, made sure all our needs were met. After a day of sightseeing in Citta Alta, she served us cheeses, fruit, bread and a delicious bottle of local wine. In the morning, she served us brioche, rolls apricot jam, butter, cappuccino, and freshly squeezed orange juice. Le Ronde is wonderful and a deal.
