Petite Suite - Bergamo

Great place, would totally recommend

Petite Suite was the perfect way to see Bergamo, the apartment we had was ideal, very modern and I cannot recommend it enough, especially for the price. Our short walk to and from Citta Alta funicular was pleasant and only 3minutes long. The lady meeting us had no English and so had to have another lady with her to interpret, they were both very helpful and friendly. The booking details I had meant we arrived at the office location of Petite Suite rather than the apartment we were staying in but as soon as that was rectified everything went very well. The kitchen area and fridge were very well equipped for our short stay, the only thing lacking was a sharp knife! I will be telling my friends and family to book here.

The location was great. You are just 5 minutes from the base of the old city. The apartment was spacious and nicely decorated. You have a nespresso machine with coffee and lots of dry goods (breakfast foods) in the apartment. The bathroom is spacious as well and very modern. Really worth the price we paid. I would recommend this place but not so sure I would go back myself. We booked through veneer the day before our arrival and had a hard time getting in contact with the property owner/manager. We called several times and finally someone speaking Italian answered and after a second hung up. The day of our arrival, we tried calling a few more times and no success. The apartment location (on our confirmation) was actually the owners apartment. We had to call Veneer and had them put us in touch with someone - at this point we were also guessing that it was a scam property so we started looking elsewhere. Finally we received a call from the manager and she met us outside the apartment. She was taking care of the property for the owner and was very friendly. Once in the apartment, we were pleased and happy to be there after a long drive. When I walked around to check out the place, I noticed that the floors were never cleaned and had lots of hair and dirt in the bathroom. There was also no body towels, just hand towels. When I called to ask for towels, we got 1. I didn't bother calling again. Also, the main reason we booked this particular hotel was for the pet sitting services that they offered. It never happened. They use someone and couldn't quite get her mobile number to us, so we toted the pups along. Soooo to wrap it up... my husband enjoyed his stay and would recommend it. Me.. I like to know what I'm getting for the most part, so the doggy sitting and dirty floors and the drama of getting a hold of someone was way too much for me to want to deal with on my vacation.

The proprieter very kindly picked us up from the airport which was very useful, as the apartment would have been difficult to find. The owners were very friendly and accomodating and the apartment was ideal for our needs. A very pleasant stay. Thankyou. There was building work going on in an upstairs flat, which would have been annoying had we spent more time in the apartment.

This has ben for a long time the best week-end. Patrizia the owner and her family were super friendly, happy to help you with any question you may have. The apartment was fantastic. Nicely decorate to the smallest details. Everything was great and we highly recommend Petite Suite as a place to stay in Bergamo. It's very central to the shops and restaurant, and only 20 minutes away (walking) to Citta Alta and 10 min away from the airport. Milano is only 1 hour away by train (slow train). It's a perfect place for a long week-end in Bergamo/Milano. The hospitaly was second to none. Thanks you!
