Absolutely beautiful loft in a nice area of Bergamo. I'm sad that I only stayed one night, but would definitely come back. It was a lovely place for the money, one of the nicest places I stayed on my 6 week vacation in Europe.

I am afraid for us this was a bit of a bad call, we wanted to be near Airport for morning, the drive from Lake Garda to property only 40 mins and less to airport. When we arrived we were told there were parking places in 6 different streets around the location and after driving around for an hour, still no parking and ended up parking in paid parking which was ok but we should have been told this and not wasted time. Also Laura would only accept Cash and additional 4 euro for tax or something, this was confusing as I assumed the credit card had been debited. No receipt was given for the cash ...... So not happy with the whole thing at all. After driving around for an hour we bumped into Laura after parking in paid parking and her friend said there is no chance of getting parking in these areas.... SO WHY WERE WE NOT TOLD THIS when she met us at apartment. Confusion and misleading information. We would have been better to stay at airport hotel and take taxi into town and hand car back day earlier. Cheaper all round and certainly less hassle. Horrible end to a fabulous week at the Lake
