The apartments feature an excellent location, within steps of many Barcelona hotspots, restaurants, great shops and many more. The Drassanes underground station is within walking distance from the apartments.

The 40 Euros mandatory cleaning fee was hidden in the small print, and I only noticed after confirming the booking which saddened me. Otherwise the apartment was very good - comfortable, very clean, modern and in a great (but not particularly quiet) location on a lane in the Gothic quarter. I would recommend to people who plan to explore some of Barcelona's nightlife rather than families.

The apartment is is a rather poor area - lots of people hanging out on street corners etc - felt a little unsafe. Just 200 metres further north the character of the old town changed and seemed better.However we had no bad experience.

I have been 3 times in Barcelona. The last in 1998 The place is very well and the flat, a good choise to spend a few days

The apartment was imaculately clean and tidy. The only negative thing to say is that if you sleep in the sofabed ( in the livingroom/kitchenarea) you will hear all the people passing by. There is no traffic but quite a lot of people on weekend nights. It is situated in the old part of town with alleys all around, close to the Ramblas. Good place to stay for a few days if you want to see the sights.

From Barcelona El Prat International AirportBy bus: take the Aerobus bus shuttle to the center, located outside the Arrivals terminal. The Aerobus leaves every 10-15 minutes and stops at Plaça de Catalunya stop (the ride takes about 30 minutes). From Plaça de Catalunya square, take the L3 underground to Drassanes.
By train: take the L1 RENFE train to Plaça de Catalunya (the ride takes about 25 minutes). Trains leave every 30 minutes, from 6.13 a.m. to 11.40 p.m. From Plaça de Catalunya square, take the L3 underground to Drassanes.
