Stayed in Hesperia Sant Joan the second time. Lovely clean rooms, great, polite staff. The location is a bit far from centre of Barcelona, but the connection by bus and tram is fine. Had a great time in the place, just the pool was still closed till June, couldnt enjoy it. Can say only good words about our stay in this hotel. THANKS a lot.

The room was very clean and spacious, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. An enjoyable place to stay.

The Hotel Hesperia Sant Joan Suites staff was excellent, the facilities exceeded my expectations, rooms were big as suites,comfortable, fully equipped, breakfast buffet was excellent for an extra minimal fee, safety and security were among the best qualities of the hotel location and vicinities. Excellent ground transportation from the airport to the hotel and back on public transportation, easily accesible to Barcelona within 15 minutes with a TRAM and Bus stops close to the hotel main entrance.I would highly recommend this hotel to others as well if I needed i would book in the future for its excellence in price and 5* quality for the budget price of a 3* making this property an excellent selection in this time of crisis but with prices affordable as this one, in business or leisure this is the best hotel alternative in Barcelona vicinity.

We stayed for one week on April and I really recommend this hotel! The hotel is located not in the center but it takes about 45-60 minutes by public transport to get to the city center. As Barcelona is really beautiful city this duration is not very long – you have what to see from the tram :)Night bus stops next to the hotel doors – you even do not have to cross the street. The area is really quiet and cosy. For me it was important because of coming back to the hotel late at night (if you come back by tram you have to go… 5 minutes on foot :)) Quiet or not in the hotel – depends on people living there at the moment. We had two rooms apartment – comfortable and spacious. There was everything you need for cooking in private mini-kitchen. Staff was super! I must admit that this hotel exceeded my expectations :)

yes it's the first time of our stay in this hotel. It's too far from the city center and expansive according to that.

Nice apartment, need to ask for kitchen items-but they bring it right up. Wifi is awful, but free. Nice rooms. Nice, helpful staff! It is 3 blocks to the Tram - about 30-45 min into downtown. Need to transfer to metro. Run until 1 or 2 am. Grocery store 2 blocks away (open from about 9 am-9 pm). Petrol station with some food 1 block away.

it takes about one hour by public transport to get in to the city center, it was just to far out for us, and was very noisy

is far from the metro stop useful, but is fairly served by buses (including night) the hotel is very nice, especially for the price, and the rooms are comfortable and spacious.

I was vsiting, my first time in Barcelona, I had a suite everyting was very good, price-quality excellent.

I think the Hotel is quite good and helpful. Though I only stayed one day at the Hotel but the impression was good. Sure that I will advise the Hotel for my friends.

After i had booked this hotel,I read the reviews and thought i had made a mistake. It was a nice suprise on my arrival to find the hotel was very modern and clean and the bedrooms very spacious. A previous review had stated transport links were poor. We discovered that a tram system operated 5 minutes walk from the hotel which took you to the outskirts of Barcelona City Centre which was certainly good value for money. Taxis from the hotel to the city centre and to the airport were 17 euros ,these being available at the taxi stance accross from the hotel or ordered via the hotel reception. Pubs and restaurants within walking distance and numerous shops including a supermarket and a bank and a 24 hr petrol station with supermarket within.

My stay would have been fine, if it hadn't been for the air conditioning (heating, in my case) and the refrigerator which where both quite noisy. Another warning: if you use the hotel parking, park your car only behind those garage doors that say "hotel garage". The hotel is not close to the center of Barcelona, but if you need to take the autopista to Madrid or to Zaragoza on the next morning, it is located just fine.

The web site made me believe this hotel was closer to the airport and beaches than Barcelona. And it was equally distant from both. And not close to the airport or beaches.

Perfect for a business trip to the area. Services in the Hotel are excellent although I didn't see much else in the surrounding area.
