Deluxe City Center Apartment - Barcelona

The apartment was not clean enough for the price they take (30 euro final cleaning). The equipment was very good and the location is excellent. Anyway there isn't wifi connection as specified. The staff was precise but she doesn't stay enough time to explain all, in 5 minutes she takes money and escaped. We are a family with a baby of nine months and I think it is good for this kind of clientele, but also for young people as the area is full of young (as near there is the University).

I believe that the cost of the end maintenece charged to the price (E 30) is not just. Must be included in the price.

This appartement is very good! very spacious for 4 persons and very good lacated near the rambla and the bar of tapas ! it was very good hollidays !

Rather a stark contrast between the interior and exterior settings of this apartment. If you like the House of Ikea then this is the apartment for you. Generally well fitted out (my wife would have liked a hairdryer). But what spoilt the inside was the fact that the roads in the vicinity were all being dug and drilled at once, making it quite difficult to get into the apartment. The noise was most deafening when they were drilling right under the balcony window, but this was a feature of our entire five day stay. On a positive note it did mean it was quiet at night as the roads were closed to traffic. General location of the flat was good, within easy walking distance of many of the main areas and public transport. Once those roads are finished it will be great.

The apartment is very close to La Rambla, about a 2 min walk. It, however, is situated in a rather seedy area. At the moment, there is construction around the entrance, so taxis have to stop around the corner from the apartment. The apartment is not too bad -- there is a single room with a double bed and the couch in the living room also converts to a double bed. There is a washing machine but no dryer. There are no English channels on the TV (most of the other apartments I stayed in had at least a CNN or BBC channel).

Good City Centre location but just far enough away from the main roads so that we were not disturbed by noise. The apartment itself was well furnished (a couple of light bulbs were not working and some kitchen implements were missing but these are minor grumbles). Overall this apartment offers value for money for as a city centre location for a family or couple.

very good location; clean

This apartment was rather disappointing for a few reasons: 1) there are many hidden fees. You can only check in between 4 pm and 9 pm. Our trains were delayed so we arrived at 9:30 pm - we were charged an extra 20 euros. There is also a 30 euro cleaning fee. 2) i don't know what they use this cleaning fee for because the apartment was really quite dirty. There was actually dirt on the countertops - the kitchen was grimy, and the plates and cups were pretty disgusting. How do white light switches go black?? The floor was filthy too. And the sofa smelt funny. 3) There is not much noise from the road but the floors and the walls must be thin because there is a noticeable amount of noise from other apartments. 4) The bed felt really small - it was a bit strange. It felt smaller than a standard double. The mattress was okay but not great - it was a bit soft. On the positive side: the apartment is very well-located - about 5 mins from Las Ramblas and supermarkets. It is also relatively modern (although I'd rather have a clean apartment than a modern one). In summary, there have to be better apartments in Barcelona than this for the price. It was okay, but I probably would look for something else next time I go to Barcelona.
