Inside Barcelona Apartments Esparteria - Barcelona

Staff was VERY helpful in all of our inquiries. The location was terrific for site seeing and getting around Barcelona. We picked up a car the next to last day (for continuation of our trip) and there was convenient parking too.

The staff was very friendly and really helpful. The apartment was spacious and the location in the Born neighbourhood is unbeatable. As the apartment is located in a lively pedestrian area (although in a very small side road) with lots of restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity and close to Passeig del Born it may be a bit louder at weekends.

The place was too expensive for what it was; however, the rooms were in a great condition, it is in a very good area and the staff is absolutely wonderful.

The location indicator on the map is not very clear so took a little bit of hunting to find the property and even more to find the reception shop (we were fortunate to bump into another guest staying in the apartments who directed us). The reception shop was closed for the afternoon when we arrived and when I called them on the emergency number(contact number pasted on the reception window) I was told they had sent me an email letting me know they would be closed (They did not). Still she came and let me leave our bags in their office then told us to come back in the evening to check-in and get access to our apartment. This was okay for us so we went for a walk and a bite to eat round Las Ramblas. This was the really the only hitch, the apartment was good, big enough for three people and the facilities and decor were good enough quality, definitely better than a hotel room. The rooms had good sound proofing but remember it is the Born district and the saturday we were there a stage was erected outside the santa maria del mar church at the end of our alley and some dodgy band performed a load of cheesy pop/rock songs until 2am! This was the only disturbance and only added to the flavours of BCN...I guess if you don't like it with a bit of energy maybe central BCN is not for you... otherwise enjoy :O) I would go back to this property.

L'appartamento è molto carino, semplice ma dotato di tutte le funzionalità e viene pulito una volta a settimana durante il soggiorno. Il proprietario dell'agenzia di inside bcn è cordiale e disponibilissimo. L'ìappartamento si trova in una posizione centralissima sia per chi abbia intenzione di fare una vacanza culturale(è a 5 min a piedi dalla cattedrale e dal centro storico), sia per i ragazzi(è a 4,00 di taxi dalla Barceloneta,facilmente raggiugibile anche a piedi). Ci ritornerei molto volentieri!!!!

Nice flat, great location right in center of town; perfect service, I recommend it.

We experienced 2 types of appartments, one with 2 bedrooms and one with one bedroom. Both were spacious very clean nicely decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped. The place is suitable for couples or families with 2 children because the living room is big enough.The nearest metro station (Jaume) is 5mn walking.
