The best hotel ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great value for your money. Supermarket, bakery & fruit & vegetable stand all within the block. Easy walk to Playa de Catalunya and Sagrada Familia where you can get the Hop On/Hop Off bus. La Rambla is also very walkable. Metro within 2 blocks in either direction. Great convenient location - highly recommend.

We had a great apartment with lots of space for the three of us. Kitchen was very spacious although not well stocked with utensils. Roach on the first night was not a nice surprise. Good location and in a quiet neighborhood. Staff was ok, but not as helpful as other places we stayed.

Best value for the money. Hotel is a short walk to the main square of Barcelona (Placa de Catalayan) from which you can take the hop on/ hop off tour bus, the metro and the aerobus to and from the airport. There are numerous grocery stores to choose from, we went to the one about 4 stores down to the left on the same side of the street. If you go out of the hotel, turn right, go to the corner and turn left you will be on the road that takes you to the square. 2 blocks into this route will take you to a huge intersection with the Arc and a beautiful treelined street. We had a triple room (2.4) and were surprised at the space! The kitchen is bigger than what I have in Italy! No problems whatsoever with the room and we slept like babies. All the cabs were familiar with the hotel (FYI the cabs are really cheap). We took a cab from the hotel to the beach and it costs us around 7 Euro. I search extensively when I book a hotel and this was well worth every minute I spent researching. Would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants more space than the average one-room hotel, a quiet tree-lined street dotted with cafes and great value. Walking distance to most attractions within 15 minutes.

Couldn't fault this accomodation - exactly as specified, only surprise is two star rating - should be higher. All the advantages of self-catering combined with hotel touches (daily cleaning, 24 hour reception etc) Staff were so nice and friendly, I will definitely return with my family. Thank you so much for a perfect stay!

Very nice staff, very nice aparthotel, good position near metro and center.

The Aparthotel was the residential building fully converted into the rental properties. The concierge was very helpful, we got our room earlier than listed check-in time, the was somebody at the front at all times (morning or night). It was awesome to have that extra bedroom for our daughter and the kitchen to make our breakfast and teas at night. The supermarket was two doors down from the hotel. We bought wine, water, fruits and some food for breakfast. There was also a small grocery store and the coffee shop across the street. The area is fully residential and very quiet, pretty safe at night. One thing to consider, it’s 5 blocks from the Metro station (about 7-10 minutes’ walk), but the extra room and the quiet atmosphere is definitely makes it worth the walk. Also, the Venere website didn’t describe the type of rooms very clear. After I booked, I wasn’t sure if we were staying at the studio, one bedroom or shared two bedroom apartment. I’ve emailed the property management and they explained the details to me, we booked 2 bedroom apartment with the balcony. The crowd staying at the Aparthotel was very normal and mostly quiet (families with children, middle aged and young ladies, couple of guys, etc.) In general we didn’t meet many neighbors, seen them only at the concierge counter.

We stayed in Apparthotel Napols for a few days in desember 2010. We had a very pleasent stay. The rooms where clean and beautyful. We would like to rent again in Napols Hotel. The staff was very cind and helpfull.

We spent five days in Barcelona. The whole family (2 adults - 2 children (14 and 12) enjoyed the apartment and Barcelona. Some plus and minuses. Plus : reception open 24 hours / bakery - fruit shop and market in front of the hotel. Minuses : sometimes noisy during the night because of the noise in the inner court (next to the sleeping rooms) , one night because of the wind and some windows left open in the stairway, another because of people of people talking loudly. But these are details, our stay was nevertheless perfect.

It is not the most centric place, but it is perfect since the metro station is only 2 blocks away. The apartment was really nice, with a balcony, spacious and clean. Staff was willing to help, they even printed out stuff for free. There are some places to eat around. Will stay again for sure.

Overall it was good. Although I have noted them that we will be checking in late, when we arrived at 10:30 there was no one at the reception for 30 minutes, it was vety stressful. Then the receptionist showed up with regular spanish flare. Anyway,bar that it was clean, good location, no luxuries, it was quite as well.

This is two bedroom apartment, very spacey, clean, in good resident area near center of town and near of metro station. They don't have restaurant because this is apartment with full equipment kitchen. Stuff do cleaning room and change towels also they wash dishes in washing machine.

We stay there for 3 days, it is a suprise that the space of room is very large, even have two bedrooms! Highly recommend for the family travellers. It's near the Metro so the location is good.

We loved Aparthotel Napols. The individuals staffing the front desk were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The two bedroom suite was very spacious and quiet and the proximity to three grocery stores was also a bonus. The suite was generally clean, but there was some dirt in the corners and the kitchen was missing a few basic supplies like dish soap and dish cloths. Otherwise, a great stay and we would book again.

Rooms spacious - very clean and modern Kitchen is good - just needs a cutting board and a North American coffee maker in my opinion One or two extra pillows would be nice. Good supermarket 20 feet away, good place for croissants and fresh fruit right across street Metro 2 blocks down - easy to get around Barcelona. 10 min walk to Santa Sagrada Familia. No issues what so ever.

Clean, spacious and honest hotel. Very expensive parking lot. Good general impression.

We thought we just booked for a triple room, but we were surprised that it's an apartment! We like it because it's really big and clean. The hotel rate is really worth it.

Central location (in the ensanche) with bus stop (54) in front, supermarket (Condis)and bakery also. Highly recommended but book well in advance.

This was an excellent apartment, close and within walking distance to Sagrada Familia, La Ramblas, the beach and metro stops. We are a fairly active family and this was the ideal location to see and explore the heart of Barcelona (Bari Gothic). Another reason this was a great stay was the price, how quiet the rooms was and how much space we had in the apartment. (our apartment faced the inner courtyard).

Location is great (5 min of walk to the Cuitadella park, to subway, 10 min to the port). Apartment was clean, had all utilities in perfect condition (including quiet air conditioner). The street is noisy (it is the main route from Grand Via to Barcelona Nord station) but windows insulated most of it.

Rooms were spacious, clean and the location was convenient. Close to the North Bus Station, 2 blocks from the Metro Stop Arc de Triomph and walking distance to Catalunya. Quiet and safe neighborhood with grocery stores 3 store fronts away. Would've been nice if there were more bath gel, shampoo amenities provided than 2 packets of each. We rented a 2 bedroom suite/apt so you would think more would've been provided. I'm sure if we went back down to the front desk, we could get more. That is what we had to do for an additional roll of toilet paper. Only the one in the fixture was provided. All in All, the apartment was spacious and clean with a great floor plan. Highly recommended.

As good as the comments which we read! Only there were some other guests/residents of the flat who had a nousy party the second night. There's not a lot of common room. It's individualistic. We experienced this as 'very relax!' Como los commentarios dicen: "Muy bien!" Solo una fiesta poca ruida de otros habitantes del edificio en la segunda noche. No hay mucho sitios colectivos, es muy individual. (Que tranquilo!)

Camera che e' un vero e proprio appartamento con la possibilita' di preparare colazione o pranzo. Molto tranquilla e abbastanza vicino alla Sagrada ma lontano a piedi dalle ramblas 45 minuti a piedi. Situato in un quartiere popolare con buone trattorie

Close to city centre ,well served, nice and clean

We decided to ignore some of the more negative comments in the reviews & were pleased we had. The accomodation was spotless & quiet. The area was well served with basioc shops. Local restaurants needed a bit more hunting out, but was worth it. Staff in these were friendlier and the extras were onn the house rather than all being added to the bill as in the centre of the city. The proximity to the metro meant that all other area facilities were no more than 20-30 minutes away. Direct bus from nearest stop to Nou Camp was a real bonus. The property was well equipped for our needs & would have been fine if we had wanted to stay in & eat our main meals. views from balconies not brilliant but that's not significant compared with the value offered with this accomodation. Staff were available when needed & we were very impressed when the shower was fixed within half hour of reporting the problem.

Come descritto nei commenti precedenti. Perfetto per chi arriva da GIRONA. Vicino anche alla fermata della metro (line rossa ). Volendo anche con un passeggiata a piedi si raggiunge il centro. Appartamento veramente grande e ben arredato, tranquillo. Panetteria supermercati e bar nella via.

We booked a triple room for our stay in Barcelona.. The room and lounge area was very spacious. Kitchen was well equipped. Very clean and nice apartment. Definitely would recommend to others.

Highly recommended. Quite place well connected to all the destinations. Walking distance from the Sagrada Famiglia and Plaza Cataluna.

Really a nice place, well placed in the closed surrounding of barcellona, near the metro or a nice walk to the center. Rooms were clean (except under the bed...) and silenced. The kitchen worked fine. They just need to improve the welcome service (the night receptionist didn't speak english and poor spanish as well..) . A great place to stay in barcellona

We wil choose this Aparthotel again, if we go to Barcelona again.

Excellent place to stay Very quiet street

Our 1st time at The Napols, 5 nights sightseeing. Location is good, 750m from main bus station, approx 25min walk to main Catalunya square where you can catch all the tourist buses and is the hub for seeing all the main sights. Rooms vary regarding quietness, if fronting the road they are quite noisey, if facing the back nice and quiet. I am a fulltime wheelchair user had room E2, fantastic room re size and accessibiliy but faced the front, ask for the same level of space but at the rear if they have it. Really helpful staff, the office staff during the day can speak good english. I would stay there again given the above concerns.

Triple room. we were 5 days in Barcelona. Nice rooms, but we missed some kitchen equipment. The bathroom was small

The Location is best if you go to girona airport. Relationship between price and quality is excellent. very clean and modern. we`d like to come back

Hotel was great .Excellent location. Metro close short ,walk to historic area,very good supermarkets within 100 meters.The only downside is that the kitchen is very poorly equipped. one pot one pan ,no proper knives, fine for heating prepared food but hopeless for the creative cook

This is an excellent value apartment hotel. Staff were helpful and knowledgeable, the apartment was spacious, clean, tidy and serviced daily. Location was very central with easy access to several metro and train lines. Overall, a very good package.

I travelled to Barcelona with my family, for 3 days and it was a good experience leaving in this aparthotel. It just as good as leaving at your own house.

Nice budget hotel. They don't have room service or premium channels, but the room was very comfortable and clean. My family stayed there for 4 night and felt comfortable. The living room and kitchen were nice features. We could eat in and relax on the couch after a long day of touring. Our room had a big patio as well, but we didn't use it because it was cold outside. I imagine it would be great in teh summer. The only complaint we had is that the hot water ran out after 2 showers. So we had to plan our bathing schedule carefully. Location was good. There is a bus line 2 blocks north that takes you into the center of town (Catalunya). Or you could walk 15 minutes east. For the price, I would stay there again.

Spacious, clean two-bedroom apartment located near Estacio Nord bus station, convenient for bus to Girona airport. Located close to two metro stations (Tetuan and Arc de Triomf) so easy access to anywhere. No breakfast provided but there are supermarkets on the same street so you can buy your breakfast. Only negative is soundproofing is poor so if you have noisy neighbors, you can hear them.

I'm a 32-year-old, traveling with my parents, and it was excellent to have a two-bedroom apartment with space for all of us to be together (in the living room) and apart (in the bedrooms). The decor was decidedly minimalist -- they solved the bad-hotel-art problem by not having any art at all -- but pleasant. Most of the people who were running the front desk didn't speak much English. Enough to get you through a basic encounter, but asking for directions and more complicated interactions will need to take place in Spanish. If you're the sort of person who's bothered by that, you should stay somewhere more securely along the tourist-beaten path. (The hotel is probably at least a half-hour's walk from most of the places you'll want to go -- it's doable, but definitely not as centrally located as somewhere in the Gothic Quarter.) Warnings about language aside, my Spanish is exceedingly limited, and the two gentlemen who didn't speak English (there were also two who did, though they're typically there one at a time) were very patient and friendly with me, displaying none of the the legendary Catalan reluctance to speak Castilian. For the right people, a great place to stay.

A true gem at an amazing price -- huge beautiful apartments in a great location. Can't recommend highly enough.

Excellent hotel, we could not have asked for anything better! Located in a nice and quiet area, it is very convenient for transport: just 2 mins walk to the underground and the coach station where you can catch the bus to Girona Airport. Our apartment was very spacious and comfortable, fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, air conditioning and hair dryer.

The place was excellent except for the very misleading location map online. It is NOWHERE near what was posted online(at the time of booking) and we wasted time searching for the place. Luckily the hotel itself was excellent.

I would recommend this hotel to everyone. It was way over and above my expectations. Two minor problems were as follows. 1) The wireless internet access only works well on the 3rd floor and less well on 4th and 5th floors. It didn't work at all on the ground and 1st floors. 2) There was very loud noise at night at the front of the hotel, mostly due to roadworks (so no problem in future) but partly to recycling bins emptying. These minor issues were easily overlooked in view of the immaculate rooms, great kitchen and lounge facilities in the apartment and extremely helpful staff. Apart Hotel Napols was in a great location. Central for walking to all attractions and with taxis on hand whenever required for outings further afield. I would definitely recommend this apart hotel to all of my friends and will stay there again whenever I can. Hazel

This was great value! A large, well appointed apartment for the price of a two to three star hotel. 24 hour reception. Also in a block of the Eixample (modified from the original flats)for those with an interest in Cerda. Pretty close to everything.

Would definately stay here again. If you don't mind staying a short distance away from the main hustle and bustle of Barcelona centre then I would highly recommend this place. We did not want to be anywhere near the Ramblas as we wanted a little bit of calm at night and these apartments were like a home from home. We had a living room and dining area, seperate fully fitted kitchen, seperate four piece bathroom, double bedroom and single bedroom. The beds were really comfortable with very crisp white sheets on them. Absolutely plenty of storage space. The apartment had its own entrance hallway with storage and safe. Staff on reception spoke quite good english and were very helpful. Loads of shops around for groceries. Its probably about a 10-15 min walk to the Ramblas. There is a metro station about 2 mins away (2 stops to Placa de Catalunya for Ramblas at 1.25 euros or a taxi costs about 5 euros). Only negative point was that we could not get the english speaking channel very well on the TV but it was'nt really an issue.

Our apartment was excellent - very comfortable and roomy. If you self-cater, there are two supermarkets very nearby. The hotel is in the suburbs, and it's about a 15 minute walk to the old part of the city. There is a Metro station 2 minutes away though, and we would recommend the the Metro - the trains are frequent and clean, and go everywhere you're likely to want to go. The "T-10" ticket is excellent value.

The hotel is in the midtown walking distance to almost everything : Sagrada Familia, Ciutadella Park, Bari Gotico, Gracia Area. I strongly recommend and for sure we will return there. Also the kindness of the reception staff is to be mentioned. The apartment was very clean and well equiped: conclusion, go there I don't thing that you will be disapointed.

A very comfortable and large appartment with all facilities needed for a perfect stay in a central location for a break in Barcelona.

It was a good apart hotel...really very good for the price...If i visit barcelona, I would like to stay in the same aparthotel..

We were very happy with our choice of hotel in Barcelona. The location was perfect, we could walk just about everywhere. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and friendly. They tried to speak English for us and we reciprocated with our few words of Spanish. All in all, a very pleasant visit.

The apartment was comfortable and well-equipped. Although breakfast was not available on the premises, there is a fine place across the street and a supermercado in the same block. The public space is a corridor, but, afterall, it is an apartment building. It's a good value for those who want/need more than a room.

Excellent accomodation. very clean and modern. we would stay there if we ever go to barcelona again regards Mr Martin Johnstone
