Cleanliness I put 7 because like in appearance and clean, but under the bed such clumps of dust, I had never seen before. Which, when emitted in a drafty room. Quietness of rooms: there is no peace no, so without earplugs there is off limits, even if you fall asleep, there is so much noise that you wake up somehow broken. Very bad mattresses. Who has problems with his back very would not recommend it to sleep. The location is great! very convenient. Near the station, subway, shops. What is not least a very clean quiet area. Photos posted on the website the hotel match, probably only took about 15 years from the time when it was photographed and make repairs. Generally my final opinion is that for the price it is a very good option.

What's the best way to say this, it would have made a good adult film location, mirrors above the headboard, on the ceiling. It was a spacious apartment, with a fridge.

For the money we thought it was great only thing that they could have added was a kettle to make tea or coffee we had to use a saucepan. located close to the tube stations which made it easy to see all the sights. overall excellent for the price we would stay there again.

A very good option for travellers who wants to visit Barcelona but do not want to use a lot of money in it. The place is easy to find and only a 5min walk from Sants metro and train station. The rooms are a bit dark and plainly furnished but clean and quiet enough. The staff is very friendly and helpfull.

The staff were very helpful and the apartment was as advertised but in need of restoration. The electricity connections were in one case, the tv and microwave not functioning. In the bathroom lights had been rewired but not correctly, one plate of a two plate electric hob did not work. The balcony was pleasant but needed redecorating. We enjoyed our stay but the enjoyment would have been more if the decoration and fixtures were up to date.

We had a nice time in Barcelona in Apartamentos Europa. It's a nice place to stay for a few days for young couples or single travellers, it's a pretty good value for money. The rooms are a little bit noisy, but it was not disturbing at all. The place was clean but not too modern, and I would highlight the kindness of the staff: when I asked for anything, they just helped me with smile and kindness (for example with hairdryer, dish soap etc). The location is pretty good, the metro is just a few steps from the hotel, there are supermarkets, restaurants and pharmacys also in 5 minutes walk. Unfortunately it was difficult to get in touch with them - they don't have an official email adress where we can ask for information, just a telephone number which is too bad, cause I don't want to make international phone calls. Summarizing if you are not the fan of fancy stuff and you are an avarage visitor of Barcelona, i would highly recommend you to stay here.

Staff was very nice but spoke no english so communication was difficult; the hotel is located directly at a busy intersection so that it is very loud day and night; the room was very hot because the air conditioning was broken; in relation to the price the room was still ok (and the price is very cheap in comparison to other hotels in Barcelona); in 20 minutes reach of the city (by Metro)

Considering the price of the accomodation, we didn't expect too much. We travelled as a family (4 people) and were accomodated in two appartments: one similar to the ones on the pictures (bright, with balcony, furniture ok), and a second one inside the building with a "window" (not possible to be closed) towards a hoistway - no daylight, no fresh air, air conditioning loud but not cooling. That was really unfortunate since both rooms used to be smoking rooms - the smell of cigarettes was omnipresent. Something was leaking in the bathroom, the floor flooded without using shower/sink. Beds are ok for a young couple, but not comfortable for e.g. my a bit older parents (bed only 135cm). As other people described, the building needs some refurbishment. Positive were the nice and patient receptionist (conversation in Spanish though) and the location: Sants Estacio (train to airport: 15mins, metro to city center: 8mins). The appartment is not in the very city center, but still central and close to all public transport facilities. If you are looking for a central budget accomodation and are lucky to get a room with balcony, the appartments are ok - you'll only sleep there anyway in the amazing city of Barcelona!

Modest furniture and decorations but everything worked and was very useful. In our room we even had coffe maker,2cups 2spoons,2forks, 2wine glasses. We arrived at 22:00 and someone was at the reception. we also had a nice surprise in the fridge:cold beer, water and Cola free of charge. Our room was a bit noisy because the window had a single sheet of glass. The room also had a LCD Tv with spanish TV. Good quality for the money we speant. It it perfect if you just want to have a place to sleep but a bit modest for the ones who are used to high class. One big advantage is that the Sants Station is quite close. From therre you can go anywhre including the airport. I enjoyed my stay. the balcony was great. PS. I only saw one cockroach and it was dead

Rooms were large ,clean and location was perfect for us near metro n rail station.Place was not at all noisy.Problem for us were utensil were very limited not enough for cooking proper meal, there was no electric kettle and no toaster.Water was not passing from the bathroom basin.Over all we will say its value for money for staying here.

It's okay to reach the main attractives of Barcelona: Placa de Center Metro Station (green) is very very close to the apartments (3-4 minutes by feet). Getting out the building and turning right you can find a good restaurant (Tres Villas, n°22 Carrer de Berlin) and near it also a good Cafetterie (wonderful croissont!). Ok for couples, and friends.

Apartamentos Europa offers low cost accommodation with considerable sacrifice of amenities and comfort. The room was clean, the bed relatively comfortable with clean bedding, the air conditioning good. It is well situated within a few minutes walk of the train station and metro. Cost less than one Euro to take the 20 minute train ride from the airport. However, there are a number of issues that make this an undesirable property: no hot water hookups in the bathroom or kitchen - the only hot water was in the shower; the balcony door was practically falling off and had to be lifted into place in order to close it; almost all cupboard doors were in disrepair; the only blanket was the bedspread; very few clothes hangers; extreme care was necessary when taking a shower to avoid spraying water throughout the bathroom; no dishwashing soap or scrubber; the TV is so small and far from the bed that it is pretty well unwatchable (only Spanish channels); the single seat fouton style "couch" was very dirty. It should be noted that we changed rooms after arriving, since the frst one we were shown was quite inadequate, being very small, the kitchen table rickety, with an old noisy window air conditioner. There was a large mirror behind the bed, and we noticed a ceiling mirror over the bed in another room. The conclusion is that each room is likely quite different than the next and it would be impossible to predict what you would be getting when you arrive. The lady at the desk was quite pleasant and tried to accommodate our requests and even went to the trouble of using a translator on her computer. Once we were settled in, we did not interact with the office again. Cheap but substandard accommodation.

We are a couple with a young child, staying in Barcelona for 9 days. I had the impression from the entry on the website that there would be a separate dining area, but it was really just a medium-sized bedsit plus a private bathroom. Having said that, I do feel that the website did accurately represent what was offered. The rooms were a bit basic and not everything worked - which gave me a chance to explain, in Spanish, to the extremely friendly and helpful staff. I am learning Spanish so this was fine by me. Given the excellent price for the rooms, I feel that they were brilliant value for money, and I would not hesitate to book them again - if only for the friendly and helpful Spanish-speaking staff. However, our daughter found the room very noisy, but with ear-plugs she coped with it. The location was superb and we all really enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend these flats, especially if you'd like to improve your Spanish, or you want friendly and helpful staff.

Excellent location, 5 min from metro station, 10 min from train station (direct connection to the airport) and about 20 min walking from Camp Nou. Although standing on a crossing of 2 main roads, the appartment was quiet (when the balcony was closed - and there is air conditioning so it's not a problem). In the kitchen there is only a fridge and a cooker (no microwave or oven). On the other hand, plates and cutlery are sufficient. The receptionist speaks only a little English but enough to understand. I was there with my girlfriend for 7 nights and we really enjoyed our stay in Barcelona! We can only recommend!

Plus:Hotel Front Desk:Great / Location: Great-Near Metro and Train Station. Minus: Office is upstairs on the 5th floor of a commercial/apartment building. The Bathroom had no Soap and the Floor was Sticky / This hotel/apartment has permanent residents who's cooking stunk up the hallway. Noisy hallway even with inside and outer room door closed. The mattress is lousy even by cheap hotel standards and the shower curtain does not go all the way around. You get what you pay for. We traveled with two older teenage girls who got their own room. Being on a budget vacation the price was great. If you are not picky about were you bed for the night and more interested in seeing beautiful Barcelona the location is great.

Our stay in Apartamentos Europa Barcelona was quite good. We really had a good stay in this hotel. It is just a few minutes away from Sants Estacio (train and metro station). The train from the airport to Sants Estacio took about 15-20 minutes and cost about 3€. With the metro to "la rambla" you need about 5-10 min. The staff was really nice and helpful. They provided us with a city map and gave us interesting advice what to do and what to see. The only minus point was the noisy street just in front of the hotel. But after long sightseeing days we just were tired and fall asleep instantly. So that was not a problem for us. The room was clean and actually very big for this price (together we payed 93€ for 2 days in a double room). We even had a kitchen and TV (and bathroom with shower certainly).

Really enjoyed our 3 night stay in Barcelona - the apartments were a 3 minutes walk from the metro and a leisurely 10 minutes walk to Sants Station lugging our cases. Our apartment was on 6th floor at the corner of the building - traffic noise was quite loud but we just left our kitchen extractor on and that blanked all sounds out. Kitchen was okay - fine for doing stir frys etc but nothing more elaborate - no tea towels or cleaning materials provided so take your own or buy when you get there. There were 2 decent size supermarkets within a 5 minutes walk. We arrived at about 9am and were able to leave our cases in reception - very warm in corridors and on arrival one of the cleaners gave us a complimentary bottle of water each. If we go to Barcelona again I would have no hesitation to stop there again.

the room was exactly as seen on pictures. Hotel is located on a very frequent crossroad so it is very, very noisy… but that didn’t bother us because we were very tired from a whole day of walking through Barcelona streets so it didn’t affect our sleep… we stayed for 5 days and cleaning crew didn’t clean our room once… except for that, good value for money…

It was my first time in Barcelona and i chose this hotel for its good location next to the Camp Nou stadium and affordable price.Fortunately the property was very clean and decent and the receptionist even though she didnt speak english was very helpfull. There has been small technikal problems problems with the air-conditioners buttons which had been removed and the lack of extra blankets and pillows, but generally i was very satisfied by the relationship between price and quality and i would return to it to a future trip.

The Appartement was dirty and very loud! The accourments of the bathroom were very old. The bedclothes and towels smelled bad, so that we utilised our towels. We have also booked the appartment because of SateTV, but the channels were only spanish one. The person on the check-in was friendly, but she speak only spanish, no english, and so the communication was difficult. For few days the appartment was ok.

Room is very clean. We saw the review n ask for a room not facing the main street. The lady offer us to see that room without window and don't think about it!! I stay in Barcelona 4 days, the rooms are smaller than what you see in the photos but they're quite comfortable. My room wasn't really silent because there's a big crossing in front of the building, with a lot of traffic all night and day long. The location is good: 5 minutes from Sants Station and 2 minutes from Placa del Centre metro station (L3-green).

Good price/quality relationship, the bathroom was small but OK for the European cheap hotels standard. Location is OK but there are 2 things you should consider: the water comes out of the shower in big quantities and the hotel is located on a noisy street, you hear traffic and activity until 1 or 2 am and is starts again around 6. What I will remark is that the hotel staff was really friendly, kind and supportive.

We hade a very nice staying at this apartment and a very good time in Barcelona overall…, very close to everything and we loved the cleanness inside and outside the underground and etc. although there was some accounting mistake but I think it was the fault of time difference in Europe and USA. People in Spain are very kind and nice so as those who work at this place… if you are about to travel to Spain.., Barcelona.., I highly recommend you to visit this apartment and I highly recommend others to visit Barcelona.., the best soccer team in Europe is there…, Thank you and we all see you again.
