We loved the Autour du Petit Paradis and did not want to leave when it was time to go home. Madame Sabine was very kind and helpful. Our journey to Avignon had been a little difficult and we arrived rather early but she welcomed us in straight away, she even lent us a travel plug - we had left ours behind in Paris! We had never been to Avignon before so had to get our bearings but Madame Sabine gave us a map and very good directions for sights, shops and restaurants etc. We had a lovely stay and would definitely go back there. The apartment was comfortable, clean and bright, and had been decorated with style and character. It was in a quiet and peaceful spot right in the heart of this beautiful city. We would highly recommend the apartments to anyone. It was perfect for us.

We had a nice room, right at the top of the building, but I suspect other rooms were nicer. Although spacious and well fitted out, it had a tiny window and was right at the top of the stairs. We managed to cook a couple of simple meals quite well, but the high table and stools were almost impossible to sit at - I was not tall enough to climb successfully on to the stool!

I adored my room. I loved how it was decorated and my kitchenette covered all the necessities. I found the bathroom to be a good size - surprising for Europe - with the shower stall just a bit tight. Only issue was the noise from the street. Even though the hotel is in a quieter part of town, the windows/room were not sound proofed enough (or at all) to keep out the noise of drunk or loud people walking the streets late into the night. I had to download a White Noise app on my iPhone and keep it on my pillow with me to help drown ut the noise. Heavier cutains around the window or some other method would have helped. But all in all, it was a lovely gem of a hotel.

The room was a little smaller than we visualised from the photo but had a window and was upstairs and airy which we liked a lot.It was immaculate and the assistance we received from the owners was fantastic. They spoke excellent English! They helped us book a tour to Gordes, Rousillon and Menerbes with Provence Panorama. The mini bus had an excellent Polish guide and it was one of the highlights of our trip. The Hotel is near a great Patisserie shop a very good supermarket and Les Halles, the market. We walked everywhere and even cooked in our room which was a little challenging as there need to be a few more places to put things. However we do like our vegetables and it balanced out the pastry that we ate!

Wonderful place to stay in Avignon and a good base to visit the surrounding area. Easy walk to train station and center of town. Room was lovely and had everything that was needed. The Owners lent us a lap top to use during our stay and were willing to help us with any computer problems that we had. Owners were very friendly and helpful in every way! The hotel was quiet. My only down would be that walking the tiny narrow streets at night was slightly scarey, however, we were never threatened in any way. It's just different than home. WE would recommend this to anyone going to this area. One tip - if you go by TGV train it is necessary to catch a shuttle bus to the train station from the Avignon Poste Office. This cost 1.20 euro and takes about 15 minutes.

What an outstanding inn! The rooms were clean, recently refurbished, an well appointed. Our hosts were profoundly friendly and helpful. Their recommendations for restaurants, etc. in the area were perfect. The location was excellent. Autour du Petit Paradis was easily our favorite vacation stay during our time in France.

We've been stayed in hotels for 2weeks during the trip. it's been a nice experience staying with Sabine in her nice apartment with well equipped facilities which enable us to cook a decent dinner that really feels at home. The apartment is centrally located in Avignon, walking distance to most of the attractions. 2-3 supermarket within 5 minutes on foot. Will defenitely stay in this apartment if having chance visit Avigon again.

Patrick and Sabine are superb hosts - welcoming, helpful and willing to share their passion for Avignon and the region. The location is perfect - within a minute or so walk from Les Halles market in a quiet narrow lane. The rooms are furnished with reproduction French Provincial furniture (copies of which can be ordered from the owners). The hotel was created from a 17th Century building and our room was at the top of a curved staircase. It was charmingly off-the-square with a sloping floor and very small. The tiny kitchen alcove was adequate for our meal preparations and the modern bathroom had a large baroque mirror over the handbasin but only hooks to hang towels on rather than rails. The shower would not be comfortable for large bodies. Our 3 days here were delightful!

We had a wonderful 6 days in Avignon, renting one of the studios in this beautifully renovated, stylishly decorated property. The room was lovely and warm in a week of cold wind, well-equipped with all we needed. Extremely comfy bed, excellent bathroom with great shower, perfect small and efficient kitchen packed with everything - including a fancy coffee-maker AND a cafetiere! They have thought of everything. Obviously lots of care has gone into the tasteful decor - all coordinated in lovely colours, extremely chic, elegant and well-maintained - a delightful place right in the centre of town. With extra touches such as plenty of information on local attractions, trains and so on, big bowls of sweets here and there to take as you like, not to mention the warm welcome from Patrick and Sabine, I recommend it highly for anybody! Would love to go back some time.
