Vacation Rental Re Artù - Assisi

877-662-6988Situated on over 60 hectares of woods, vineyards and olive groves, all the houses have their private swimming pool. The estate is crossed by the Sentiero Francescano della Pace from which guests can have healthy walks or mountain biking. The sinuosity of the hills, the vineyards and the olive trees framing the estate, have the lights and the brilliance of the colors that once illuminated the frescoes of Giotto in the Basilica Superiore of San Francesco.
Re Artù was born from the passion of the owners for the old houses and the Umbrian countryside. Even the renewed interest for the old farm, witnesses their love for quality and authenticity of local products. Moreover, guests can buy the extra virgin olive oil produced by the farm.

We had a marvellous stay, thanks mainly to the welcoming staff, who were very relaxed but always available to help. A beautiful place in magnificent surroundings. Our only problem was the extremely noisy young families using the pool! But we just swam at less busy times! Probably better for families than couples looking for peace at high season for this reason.

With a view of the Basilica and the Rocca atop Assisi, the setting is peaceful and beautiful. Quiet, clean, spacious and friendly. The pool was a welcome relief to the heat. The only thing that would improve Re Artu would be air conditioning! (Temperature was 100F during our stay) Lovely place and friendly hostess.

By carExit the E45 Perugia-Assisi-Foligno freeway at Santa Maria degli Angeli and follow the indications to Assisi. At the crossing under the town of Assisi (follow the road signs), turn left in the direction of Perugia. Go for about 600 metres, cross the bridge, and turn right on the road which runs along an ample parking area. After approximately 600 metres, on the left, you will see the statue of St Padre Pio. At this point, turn left and go uphill. Keep right until you come across two red brick columns and a wooden fence: you have arrived in via Padre Pio, number 10.
