Nemo Apartments & Guest House - Amsterdam

Overall very good, one possible improvement would be to offer lower price if only 1 person stays, e.g. I paid 180E/night for an appartment alone, whereas the appartment can accomodate three people...

Thats a very great place! enoyed a lot staing there, very comfortable appartament, very good location and the staff is very good and all time-avaible. Also the appartament its good and very capable (we was 4 people in a 6 bed appartament) so we have a lot of space. I would get back there if i travel again in Amsterdam and reccomand this to everyone :)

I had a great time and the apartment was very nice - even spacious for Amsterdam. The guy who showed me to my room was friendly and helpful. The only downside was the scaffolding outside the window, which meant people were working outside the window all day and limited privacy. I really appreciated the tolerant attitude towards smoking - they even provide a bit of weed to get you started. I'll certainly come back.

Loved the apartment, would stay here again the owner was super friendly! the stairs are super steep, but I think everything in Amsterdam is like that.

Fantastic place to stay for a group in Amsterdam - we had all the privacy and room we needed, the apartment is very smoker-friendly (including ashtrays, grinders, small amount of complimentary weed!) and the kitchen had everything you needed except an over (but you can cope with that) - even a toastie maker for those late night munchies! The landlady was efficient - no hassle, provided everything you needed... The apartment had a large living area and functional bathroom. Location was less than 5 mins from the bustle of red light district, but had no outside noise which was great, although we were in the ground floor flat so heard everyone come in late (but at least no stairs!). Overall would recommend to groups who want somewhere safe and quiet to return to and relax in...

The Nemo Seaview Apartment is simply marvelous! Located in an elegant historic palace, is very large and bright, close to the center and fully equipped with everything you can even imagine (set towel for everybody, a wonderful cd's choice, hair dryer - and even the mouthwash! -, all the necessaire to cook what you want and other particular surprises hidden in the home). We were in 5, stayed there for 4 nights and I felt like home from the first minute. Katja, the owner of the apartment, is really kind and friendly. The only problem is the ladder (typical dutch steep stair!) but it's worth for this apartment. I can tell I completely fall in love with this place, and I'll be back there as soon as possible.

Group of four adults, location was good, owners very helpful, beds very uncomfortable, bedding and furniture very dated. The whole apartment looked very dated and basic. could do with bit of redecorating and modernizing.

Great spacious apartment, manager went out of her way to help us (eg with lost suitcase we were trying to track from the airport), great central location.

Tried to submit this a minute ago and was disconnected - not sure you got it. Guest House was accurately represented and we were met by the proprietress, Katya, who was pleasant and helpful. It was located as specified and Katya's email correspondence was prompt and reassuring to travelers to a foreign city. The apartment was clean, bright, comfortable and included amenities such as salt, pepper, cleaning items for kitchen, coffee, beer, milk and more which was helpful as we planned to cook meals (restaurants in this city are generally overpriced and disappointing to us). Be prepared for stairs as there are many and they are daunting (we were prepared). The only downside was the last night of our four day stay, the downstairs tenants started partying late and loudly - we did not feel like asking them to be quiet and should have woken Katya but did not - the next morning we told her what happened and she said she would have had no problem dealing with the noisy neighbors. She was totally pleasant and helpful throughout our stay, even directing us to free public parking which was about 15 minutes away from the location.

What a great place to stay in Amsterdam.. the owner was lovely and very friendly..
