Hi, a little note to future travelers: 1. HOTEL: This hotel is quite old, our room was quite old, too. It was a little bit to dusty to stay in and my sister (who is allergic) couldnt sleep the first night until she drunk a bottle of beer. A member of staff told us that we better rooms are reserved for families with childrens. Those are more modern. One plus point is the terrace: it offers a marvelous view and is very beautiful. 2. PICTURES: The first moment we saw the swimming pool we thought "thank God for them that Photoshop exists", in fact the bottom of the pool was yellow and we refused the first time to get in until we realized that the tiles took on coulour. However, there is a guy cleaning the pool every morning. 3. Service: At first we thought there were not many staff but it changed, and the service was quite ok. 4. RESTAURANT: - Breakfast: is ok, but didnt change the menu, you have every morning the same food offerd. - Dinner: faboulous, their rocket-tuna saldad was a hit. 5. WIFI: There was no wifi in our room (2nd floor). We had to go to the hall to be connected to the internet. 6. Surroundings: The is a mini market and a restaurant. Nothing else. Little note: the restaurant opens quite late and the service was unfriendly (the owner of the restaurant treated the most customers harshly and she do not speak a word english, however the members of her staff was very friendly and kind to us. 7. Travelcosts: - From airport to Hotel: taxi-fare = 40 euro - Bus: 3 times a day, cost = 4.50 one way - Most people told us we had better to rent a car... 8. Environment-ambience: fantastic, the view was the best thing Sardegna can offer, coasts offers a very beautiful view. Like I said the hotel-terrace offers a marvelous view ;) I think that shoud be all. Have a nice trip to all future travelers :)

The hotel is situated in a beautiful landscape and the room had a very nice view on the sea with a balcony. Unfortunately, quality of meals (breakfast and dinner) is not what you can expect from afour stars hotel. The room was not quiet as asked when I booked on Venere : we had to sustain every night the animation and the music that were played just under the balcony. Not good relationship quality/price.

A large hotel, discreetly set in woodland in a fabulous but slightly remote location, tucked in a quiet cove nearly at the end of the peninsula, with wonderful views across the bay. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a nice balcony, but the decor and fittings were a bit tired and I would guess it had been designated for refurbishment. As the hotel did not seem particularly busy, I am surprised the management did not just allocate us a more modern room as a matter of course. Breakfast was ample and appetising, although the hot dishes were consistently cold. The buffet dinner was varied and seemed good value at 25 euros, including wine. There was a beautiful terrace to sit out & this must be a delight on balmy summer evenings (we were there in early May, when the evenings were still quite cool). In summary the hotel represents an excellent base to tour the north west of the island, but young people & families with children might find it a bit quiet and a bit isolated.

Information about hotel facilities is difficult to get hold of. Unless you ask, you will not find out what's on offer. Trying to book excursions and activites was frustrating. I was without hot water from Wed to Sun, but was not offered any reduction, even though chasing up the plumbers took a lot of my time.

We booked one week by ourselves and afterwards we booked one night via Hotels.nl (Venere), not knowing it was the same hotel as the information on the maps was so different. (-)The hotel is accessible only by a staircase, and there is no help in bringing your luggage upstairs. (-)(-)Most employees don't speak other languages, only Italian. (-)There is no groundplan, however the building is very complex. (-)Part of the hotel has no elevator at all, but many staircases. (+)Employees are very friendly, facilities are great, as is the food, and the animation team. (-)The hotel didn't answer one of our emails. (-)They asked for my credit card number by a normal email, and not via a security channel. (-)The Venere map, showing the location of the hotel is totally wrong. I had an email correspondence with hotels.nl but they couldn't make clear what the correct location should be, so I shall not use the hotels.nl site again.

Wonderful location, and very peaceful out of season (early October). Entertainment staff very friendly and talented. I would have welcomed a map of the hotel. It is huge, and the grounds are extensive - very easy to miss out on some of the facilities because you don't know where they are!

My wife and I were very pleased with hotel. Fantastic grounds and facilities. Our room was one of the rooms that had yet to be refurbished(I hope!) but was spotlessly clean with an amazing view of the Sardinian Sea. Will definatley return with the kids next time.

I spent a weekend at the resort hotel, and would say that it was a fantastic experience. In terms of price/quality, I thought it was a little pricey at first, but found out later that the price was for full-boarding. The meals provided were buffet-style with more than sufficient choices of food, food quality is good. Wine is included as well. Service at the hotel is good, especially when compared to other parts of Italy. Staffs are warm and friendly, and speak good English. Rooms are clean and spacious, and mine came with a balcony. I recommend rooms with sea-view as the view is fantastic! Furnitures show signs of wear-and-tear, but it's still comfortable. The resort hotel is very big, with lots of outdoor space. I didn't even finish exploring the entire place, as I spent most of my time driving to other locations. The hotel organises a lot of in-house activities. I went for a scuba-diving trip with its dive centre - an amazing experience. The location is good, with close proximity to the airport and the famous Grotto Neptuno. However, it could have been better marked out on the map on it's website.

Excellent location for a get away from it all break.Approx 45mins by car from Alghero, may not suit people who like to be near shops etc. Many activities available, scuba, tennis, amphitheatre with own animation team. Buffet style meals based on local cuisine excellent.Staff very helpfull but struggle with language.

Capo Caccia was an absolute joy to stay in, the food was out of this world, the staff were charming (although the English language was a difficulty for them). If you want a relaxing holiday for, in our opinion, very little money this is the one. Do not come here if you are looking for shops in the near vacinity or if you are looking for typical 'Brit' food like fish and chips baked beans and the likes. This place is thankfully unspoiled. It would not be a place for elderly people either as the complex consists out of a lot of steep steps, although there are lifts but not for instance to the pool and beach. The pool is fantastic and there is a life guard on duty, the sea is clear as glass but there is no sandy beach.
