We were delighted with the hotel. We wanted somewhere comfortable, quiet and in a good location. UNA is in a tranquil spot but only 5 minutes stroll to Rialto Bridge, 2 minutes from Strada Nove (main shopping street)and no more than 5 mins from Ca D'Oro and vaporetto stop which was ideal for whisking us to St marks and many other attractions. It was also a short walk from Fondamente Nove where the Alilaguna waterbus from the airport arrives making the journey to and from the airport very convenient (less than half an hour). We stayed for 4 days and found the breakfasts very good and all hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was gorgeous - we booked a standard double and I don't know if they are all so luxurious but we were gobsmacked. Don't know if we were upgraded but we got a suite with 2 bathrooms, huge bed and separate downstairs area with sofa bed. Reception staff informative. We haven't always found Italian hotels in other cities welcoming and usually breakfast is disappointing but we were pleasantly surprised by UNA Venezia. We think it is ideal for couples who want a quiet break. It really was so peaceful and the best we have stayed in in Italy (we've had 5 or 6 hoildays in Rome, Florence, Sienna, Montecatini and various other bits of Tuscany). Hotels in Venice are not cheap but we felt this was worth the money. We are a mature couple but it was very romantic and younger couples I'm sure would love it

Wonderful hotel, but a bit expensive for us: 400 euros for 2 nights, breakfast included. Very difficult to find, too, we thought!

A positive experience overall. Wonderful breakfast, helpful staff. Tiny room with no view, but comfortable. This was our first trip to Venice. The location was close to a ferry stop and just a block or so off a busy shopping area.

The hotel was situated in a quiet area just away from a very busy part of Venice and the Grand Canal which was really convenient and not too touristy. The decor was lovely, the service, staff, room service and breakfasts were all great. I would stay here again as long as I got a deal - I would not pay full price for the room I had. The bedroom was well decorated and appointed but cramped and had no drawers. The shower room was very small and a person who is larger than average would not even get in the shower cubicle, never mind be able to manoeuvre enough to shower properly! Having said all that - I really enjoyed my stay there and would use the hotel again.

We were upgraded into the suite, which was extremely luxurious, especially for italian standards. We did get to peek in a single room and must admit it was quite small, but it all depends on how much time one spends in the room. Regardless, everything was extremely modern and effeciently clean. Close to many shops and important things like pharmacies, banks & restaurants, but still far enough away to get a peaceful, quiet night's sleep.

We stayed here as part of our 25th anniversary trip. Finding a somewhat reasonable room in Venice is a challenge, the Venere site, definitely helps with narrowing down the options. This hotel is in a quieter part of town, but not to far from the tourist attractions. The room we stayed in was quiet, clean and large by European standards. Even though I didn't pay the extra $, we did get an upgrade to a room with a slight view of one of the canals. The breakfast was pretty good as well. Overall good value in my opinion.

After reading numerous reviews on various websites i decided to book UNA Hotel Venezia. I have to say i was not dissappointed. I booked a Classic Room and on arrival i was upgraded to a Superior. The Hotel is in a great position close to the main shopping street but far enough away to be very peaceful and relaxed. The staff without exception were genuinely friendly and helpful particularly the Reception Staff. The Hotel was refurbished to a very high standard but retained its unique character and everything worked!! I have no hesitation recommeding this Hotel.

We were one of the lucky ones as I had booked a superior room and we got an upgrade to a junior suite. It was a real treat with the bedroom upstairs on mezzanine level and another bathroom up there too. Downstiars was a sitting area with tv, stereo and a small balconyu plus another bathroom. we could have entertained wonderfully there! The dining area for breakfast was rather small although the choice of food was good. The public area was small as well. The location is excellent with only a few minutes walk to the shopping/eating street and the Ca D'Oro. St Marks is only 10 minutes walk so all in all a wonderfully eonvenient area. I have stayed in Venice before but this hotel really surpassed my expectations
