We stayed as a family of three in a junior suite for one week in August 2011. Apart from forgetting to supply us with a third bed (a shortfall rectified within 10 minutes)the service was excellent. The suite was clean, light and airy with very comfortable beds and the aircon' was effective and silent. Our room was at the front of the hotel and did suffer from considerable noise from the trams which run from 06:30 to almost mid-night. If you are a light sleeper this may be an issue. There is double glazing which helps, but in places the closure-seals have become displaced and this reduces their effectiveness. Breakfast is OK with a wide range of options, including gluten free foods. The bread was on the dry-side and the fruit juice tasted distinctly artificial, however. The best thing about the hotel is the location: at the northern end of Via Dante and three minutes walk away from the castle with many options for restaurants close by (I'd recommend La Puccini) Opposite the hotel is the travel agency Zia Viaggi and their terminus for bus tours both inside and outside the city.

The hotel was great!! It was very close to the Duomo and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele (10 minute walk or a 2 station metro ride). The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. Rooms were very clean and quiet. Loved the hotel and would definitely stay here again.

A good deal in an expensive city. The hotel is beautiful and modern. Marco at the front desk was tremendously helpful. Lovely restaurant 2 minutes from the hotel, Convivium, with reasonable prices and great food. We only stayed the night before our flight out, so we could not assess the proximity of the hotel to sights. Breakfast buffet was satisfactory, but not great. Cab fare from the Milano Central was 8 Euros. Be sure to take a metered cab. Car to the airport was 100 Euros, almost an hour drive.

The most expensive hotel we stayed in on our trip - requested non-smoking but none available - given a small extremely ugly room - all red and orange - yuk - 5 star price but 1 star quality - double bed only - lumpy mattress - complained next day and was moved to a better room which had been refurbished - would never stay there again.

This hotel mainly had business travellers, however it's great for leasure too. Our room was large, clean and comfortable and the breakfast provided was very good. The location cannot be beat, right in the centre of everything, I walked everywhere. The people at reception were very helpful with everything from directions, suggestions for things to do and restaurants etc and could speak English very well.

We were in Milan for the Grand Prix plus a few extra days for the sights and shopping. This hotel is in a fantastic location and only a couple of minutes walk for the pedestrianised shopping, cafe bar areas and the sights and sound of the historic quarter. The staff were excellent although it was quite expensive to stay here but most of the hotels put the prices up for Grand Prix weekend and Milan generally is pricey. The hotel also seemed quiet at the weekend which was not a problem and i get the impression they cater for the business user. I would certainly stay here again and Milan is a fantastic city.

We arrived at Malpensa airport and caught the Malpensa Express to Cadorno station. We walked from the station to the hotel (10 mins) but got a taxi on the way back (€ 8). We had a really great long weekend in Milan staying at the Una Hotel Cusani. Although the trams went right past our room window that didn't bother us or keep us awake at night. The staff were very friendly and helpful and thankfully spoke very good english. The hotel is well situated for the metro line (50 yards to stairs for metro), and all central places of interest (5 minutes walk to Duomo). It is very close to restaurants and bars of Brera where we spent a couple of evenings. If we go back to Milan we will definately use this hotel.

We found this hotel to be just great. They were very welcoming and at the last minute we had to add a person to the room and they were able to accommodate us and put a rollaway in the room for us. We had a jr. suite and it was very nice. If there was a downside it is that the airconditioning was turned off at mid-night and the room did get warm. We were told that at that time of year, early June, they do this and as it warmed up the air would stay on all night. They made arrangements for our cab to the airport on a Sunday morning as well as a cab early the Saturday a.m. for our daughter. Great place and I would certainly stay at this hotel as one of the other hotels in this chain. I will say that the other part of our trip to Italy was staying and much smaller hotels, ie B&B's.

We stayed there 3 nights. Pros: Excellent location of the hotel. No need to take public transports to visit. Employees are really friendly, and smiling, which is quite rare in Milan. The room we had was quite big, and quiet (we were at the 4th floor, so the noise level of the trolleys was low) Big and clean bathroom Breakfast isn't too bad. Cons The room would need a refresh, i.e. the walls aren't so clean. Some pieces of furniture should be replaced hotel's restaurant prices are high. As well as the restaurants prices in the touristic area...

Lovely room, and spacious bathroom - although, like so many Italian bathrooms, more style than practicality, with death-defying climb into shower that has little water protection from rest of bathroom - not for the physically impaired (but, minor point of humour more than a problem for us). Nice location, close to but not at rail station. Helpful, if somewhat austere staff (is this a style thing again?)

Excellent city centre hotel in Milan that offered superb value for money. I was expecting an anonymous corporate hotel but it was lovely with excellent, helpful staff and very good levels of service. My only regret was we were only there one night!

Excellent location very near the Duomo. Rooms clean, well equipped, amazingly quiet for such a central location and very spacious. Helpful staff, good breakfast. Excellent value for money. Get a good map first though as central Milan is tricky to navigate around.

View of catle was over stated as I did not even recognize a castle in immediate the area. An iron should be available for clients who want to press a few wrinkles themselves and do not want the time or expense of an ironing service. Otherwise, everything was outstanding. thank you.

Soundproofing of rooms was excellent, which is a big plus in Milan. Rooms spacious and clean. Decor unusual and elegant. Service was tops. Location was within walking distance to major cultural attractions and shopping opportunities.

The main problem was the noice in the rooms caused for the trams and the traffic. The sofas in the room are deteriorated. For the rest, everything it's O.K.
