On the outside this is a somewhat rundown boring building with neglected grounds in a quiet though slightly foreboding 'industrial park' part of town. The rooms are also boring and generic, but adequate. They claim free wifi, but really only 30min is free and any more is extortionately expensive, and the connection is very slow in any case. Still, this is in many ways a good place to stay for a night or two. The rooms are very clean, the beds good, everything works, and it is good value. Also it is within walking distance of a Metro connection. Overall though, the main reason we liked it was the staff. The manager could not have been nicer or more helpful--Catalan hospitality, we'd say. We felt that he was able to really humanize and maximize the quality of a hotel owned and maintained by corporation whose impersonality and orientation toward cutting costs was otherwise all too apparent.

It was a very spacious clean hotel, was happy with the service provided and there is a restaurant downstairs that serves good food, or the staff can assist you to get takeaway to eat in the comfort of your room.

Good location. Looks far from downtown but the bus & train station are very closed. The hotel is 1000m from Palau Sant Jordi where was the Cirque du soleil show we came to see. It is located just down Montjuic hill. We were 3 persons and the room was ready at noon when we got there. The breakfast is good and varied enough. A good place to remember. We will come back. The only bad point is the smoky smell in the bedroom. We should have asked for a non smoking room.

All the staff are very nice from the housekeeper to reception, they are very helpful and very friendly. All the desk reception they speak English but the housekeeper is no. Very reasonable price if you would like stay for a couple of days in Barcelona, breakfast is very affordable, and everyday they changed all the towels and changed the beddings which is the more I like and the lavatory is very clean.. The locations is quite far from metro station t take 10-15mins walk. But still not too bad to travel and to Pl. Espanya just 3 stop from Europa Fira. But a bit scary if you go back at night because its a industrial area where the hotel located. Overall is very good service. I can refer that travel lodge hospitalet are very good to stay for a holiday.

The hotel & rooms were clean and the service very good. The hotel is in an industrial area and not too close to the city center. It requires taking a taxi into the center, as there is no Metro close to the hotel. A good hotel for a few days stay.

I was given poor directions from the bustop to the hotel. I would of appreciated more details than just it takes 10 min. to get here. To make matters worst,I woke up in the middle of the night and stepped on a bunch of ants on the floor. I was disssapointed there wasn't a clock or alarm clock anywhere in the facility. I had to go out in the lobby and the clerk had to check his computer. In addition, there wasn't any internet access and wasn't able to check on the status of my flight or check in.

First, the bad. First, this place is pretty far from the city center. It's a 15 minute walk to the metro - and if you're coming from the airport, it's a 20 minute walk from the bus-stop (with luggage, in the heat, is unpleasant). Then, to get to the city you need to take a train 2 stops, transfer to a metro (same station), and then take that 3 stops, so its about 40 minutes to Las Ramblas. At night the walk from the train station may be scary for some travelers, I had a mother and daughter run to catch up with me from the metro who recognized me from the hotel because they were scared. It's a business part of town, there's no one around. I didn't think it was a problem, but a single female might not like it much. Second, they will not store your luggage, so if you arrive before checkin, or don't have a flight until the evening, you have to take your luggage with you (or take it to a train station a few stops away and rent lockers). This is the only place I've ever seen that won't luggage, which I found ridiculous. Finally the wireless was 11 euro/day which I found very pricey. Now, the good. The room was huge, the bed was nice, plenty of electrical outlets, big bathroom, good size shower/bath, and air-conditioning. The employees were knowledgeable and were happy to help me find whatever I want, had free maps, and where available 24/7. For the price, the hotel itself is _very_ nice... the only real downside was the location. I'm saying "no" to "would i return" below... this is entirely due to the location, which is exasperated by the luggage thing, since it means lugging luggage around even more.

Spacious rooms, free parking, 10 min walk to train/metro, near big mall. Nice to be on the outskirts of hustle and bustle of city with easy access to the city and reasonably priced rooms. Breakfast not so great for the money.

we needed to spend one night in barcelona on our way back from sevilla. The hotel is close to the airport, this is why I chose it. It is clean, the personel is very helpful and they speak english. The only problem is that the bus station and the subway stations are relatively far from the hotel. In general, the hotel is far from downtown, and is located in an industrial area.

It has been my first time in Travelodge Hospitalet, it's convenient to visit the city (close to Montjuic and to the subway). The overall hotel style is the usual Travelodge one. Hotel location itself is useful if you have rented a car as garage is for free and is easily reachable from the highway.

The room was pretty quiet and clean, but one biggest inconvenience is it's very far away from the city center and the nearest metro station is like 15 min walk distance. In general, it is a quite good option if you want to save money.

This is a nice hotel, but located really outside the city and has a super tiny inside parking which is hard to get in and out. Good value for money and quite spacious rooms
