Lovely hotel and staff. Out of the way location, but makes for quieter stay. Very low rates occasionally available if you can wait to make reservation. Only negative is that staff is not at desk in the evening, however they are reachable by phone. Excellent meal at Trattoria dalla Marisa a few doors down.

A very simple but very very good choice for travelling in Venice. Only 2 or 3 waterbus stops from the train station. The area is quiet and less touristy than most of Venice but really convenient for getting around and with some nice local restaurants and bars on the canal next to it. We would definitely stay again!

My wife and I loved the spacious room and working A/C. Directions provided on the website were explicit and easy to follow. Our greatest complaint was the lack of an ability to pay by credit card, which contradicted the statement on your website. We were not notified that their credit card machine was "broken", even though we had exchanged emails with the owners just days before. We were asked to pay in cash on arrival which flustered and frustrated us. After conversing with the staff, we discovered they had not attempted to fix the machine in months -- that angered me since "credit card accepted" was one criterion for selecting this establishment. Warn future guests to bring plenty of cash to stay here!

We had a lovely stay. The hotel staff were really nice and friendly and quick to help. The breakfast was good. The location was brilliant. It was really pretty and very quiet but not too far away from the sights/restaurants/boat stops. All in all we had a great stay and will definitely stay there again when we next go to Venice.

The location was great. It was nestled in a quiet neighborhood with a local bar (our 16 year old son got to watch futbal)and a number of restaurants visited by locals.The wine was great and the seafood fresh. We were near water taxi stops for both the grand canal (8 minute walk) and to Murano, Burano and the Lido (3 minutes). Beatrice, the hostess couldn't have been kinder or more attentive. The room was for three and was spaceous and air conditioned. The room was clean and attractive. we were close to the Jewish ghetto for those interested. There was a kosher restaurant on the canal. We stayed 5 days and found lots to do. The canals were clean and the smells we were anxious about were not present, even with the 85-90 degree days. We would stay here again.

Nice refurbished town house in a quiet neighbourhood, only a 2 minutes away from the waterbus station. Friendly staff. Rooms were very clean. Generous breakfast (better than you usually get in Italy).Unbeatable price/quality on the very expensive main island of Venice. Quietness of rooms: depends on quietness of your neighbours... Also some ill-bred tourists need to be reviewed: shame on our predecessors, who stole the 2 nice gold decorated venetian style bedside tables!!! What an abuse of confidence of the hosts, who give you the entrance key, so that you can leave your luggage behind and pick it up in their absence, at your convenience.

ein gepflegtes Haus mit moderenen, neuen Möbeln und Fenstern. Es liegt zwar nicht zentral, doch verfügt es über 2 Vaporetti-Stationen in unmittelbarer Nähe. Das Frühstück ist mit Brötchen, Stückchen und Süßspeisen ausreichend, der Kaffee stets frisch und gut. Auf Wurst wurde verzichtet, doch das ist bei dem Preis nicht wichtig. Service sehr höflich und wir konnten das Gepäck am Abreisetag bis abends im Hotel belassen und erhielten dafür einen Eingangsschlüssel. Gesamtnote für Preis mit Leistung - empfehlenswert.

Great spacious apartment with new hardhood floors, two large decks and windows all around (penthouse). Neighbourhood very quiet and convenient from train station - right on vaporetto route. Terrific value and nice continental breakfast. Bathroom and kitchen small but typical for Italy.

Hotel was easy to find thanks to the email recieved from the accomodation. The staff were excellent in every way from recommending local places to eat to checking on vaporetto timetables for our early morning departure. A wonderful place to stay, just off the beaten track enough for cheaper meals but on main vaporetto routes for easy access to all the main sights (3 day pass recommended for transport)A great place to stay for a long weekend. Good price for Venice.
