Sorrento, What a spot!! Villa Rosa great location for easy access to main street and to harbours.Clean,quiet,well appointed facilities and a very helpful host. I would gladly return and would recommend as great value for other travellers. Enjoyed our stay in Sorrento.

Really pleased that found this place when looking for options to stay in Sorrento. Ticked all the boxes - walking distance to the centre, comfortable double bed (not two singles pushed together), kitchenette to make own breakfast, terrace on two sides of the room so could always choose sun or shade, nicely decorated room with his and hers wardrobes, big bathroom, air conditioning, set in gardens with shade from trees and entrance through locked gate that gave a good feeling of safety (though Sorrento as a whole felt safe). We found good little shops a few minutes walk away to buy fresh fruit, bread, cheese and the like for our breakfast (I much prefer a leisurely al fresco breakfast when on holiday). You could make your own simple meals and the kitchen equipment includes knives that cut, not the usual blunt offering available in self catering. There are lots of lovely places to eat out in Sorrento so you probably won't want to do much cooking. The villa is on a busy corner so there's quite a bit of traffic noise but the constant drone of scooters is fairly typical of Italy. After a bit we didn't notice it and with the air con, it was possible to sleep with the windows shut. The shower cubicle was a bit small for a large bathroom but that's a minor quibble. I'd certainly recommend it if you are looking for somewhere relaxing to stay.

The whole impression is quite good except one thing - inspite of I had a room with a kitchenette, I was told NOT TO COOK SEA FOOD!!! and it happened after a roommate had thrown away the soup I cooked and which was much expensive. And in general the competence of staff leaves much to be desired. For the rest this property corresponds to the information on venere.com

After having taken the A2 Roma-Napoli, follow the signs for Penisola Sorrentina which will direct you along the A3 Napoli-Reggio Calabria. Exit at Castellammare di Stabia and continue along the S.S. 145 in the direction of Sorrento.

At the Stazione Centrale in Naples (Piazza Garibaldi) you will find the local train called CIRCUMVESUVIANA-destination SORRENTO, that will allow you to reach Sorrento in approximately 1 hour.
