(Only 700 meters away from San gimignano castle & own parking area) 5) Delicous breakfast - Bread/Coffee/Ham/Omelet/Cake/Bruschetta/Yogurt/Cereal...etc 6) Friendly hotel staff Cons 1) Location - It's 700 meters away from San gimignano castle but it's slightly uphill road so it could be little bit hard to walk toward the castle.

This was a beautiful location. A beautiful view could be seen from the french doors of the room. There was a perfect terrace on which to sit and admire the view right outside the door of the room. It was quiet and peaceful. Although they don't speak much english the people were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great. It was a 5 minute drive to the parking area outside the town of San Gimignano. I loved it and would highly recommend it.

We had a very good stay at I Coppi. Excellent location: very quiet place only five minute walk from San Gimignano's city walls, and beautiful view from the top of a hill. The room and bathroom were very large, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful. Anna and her family were very friendly and extremely helpful. If we go back to Toscana, we'll stay at I Coppi again.

Excellent location. Lovely view and a very good breakfast every morning. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. Anna is a wonderful person to deal with and we thank her for helping with some special requests regarding medecine storage. Lots of chairs to sit outside.

Very cute B&B ! We were welcomed by the grandma that does not speak english or french and she had to call her grand daughter to translate ! But for breakfast the daughter who speak very good english was there to talk abouot San Gimignano and other places to go. San Gimignano is absolutely gorgeous, I loved this small city !

We had a great time at I Coppi. The room was very clean and someone even hung our laundry out while we were touring during the day. Anna had all sorts of good advice about towns we should visit and directions to get there. The view from the terrace is excellent looking over the valley east of St Gimignano. We would go back anytime.

We stayed for a week at I Coppi, using it as our base in Toscana. it was our first time in the area and we felt it necassary to visit cities, towns and villages in the region. Each day when we came back from our journeys, it felt more and more like home; the view, the breakfast, the hospitality, it all made us question why travel around, perhaps we should just sit on the terrace and enjoy the experience which is I Coppi. We sure will do so next time. Thank you Anna and Mom, you are the greatest. One thing to fix, better explanation about how to get to you. Simply said, head for Sam Gimignano, pass it heading north. slow down by pizzaria and grocery store on your left, then just before the Belvere Hotel on the left you will find I Coppi.. Enjoy!

Anna was extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble for her. She readily detailed various places of interest and gave indications of the best way to arrive at destination. Being our first visit to San Gimignano we were very impressed by the beautiful landscapes and apart from hopefully returning in the future, we would recommend it for a relaxing holiday.

I Coppi was a wonderful place to spend 5 days while touring the Tuscany region and Anna was a terrific hostess. Her English was limited, but with my limited Italian, we were able to communicate. She was very helpful telling us places to visit and booking reservations for dinner. Her breakfasts were the best we had while in italy. The surroundings are so beautiful. We would sit outside at the end of the day and soak up the beautiful vistas. All in all a very wonderful spot. One word of caution; she does not accept credit cards because it is a family-run facility. This was our only glitch and thankfully we found out the day before we were leaving because we had a daily maximum on our credit cards. I would recommend I Coppi to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay at I Coppi Bed & Breakfast very much. Extremely quiet, located at the top of an olive orchard--AMAZING VIEWS. We would definitely return to I Coppi when in San Gimignano again; Great Value and warm hospitality--Anna is terrific!

Our time at I Coppi was the highlight of our holiday. Anna and her family were incredibly hospitable hosts, and the homecooked breakfast was the best we have ever had, a delicious Tuscan feast! The property itself is beautiful with stunning views over the countryside, and only a short walk from San Gimignano's city walls. The rooms were homely, beautifully furnished, and cleaned daily. Our experience was topped off by all the helpful favours at no extra cost, such as reservations at restaurants each night. What a wonderful lady, with a gorgeous home - we can't recommend I Coppi highly enough! We'll definitely be back!

Anna and her family are so sweet and gracious. Though this is a business they make you feel like family. A close walk to the city walls. It is uphill going and downhill coming back. Something to take into consideration with disabilities. Amazing views. Charming room that felt like home.

Anna is a fantastic host. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, great view when you walk out the door. Anna is a great source of local info. Best breakfast of any place we stayed in Italy. We recently spent 1 night at I Coppi and it was one of the highlights of our trip. The room and bathroom were very large, clean, and comfortable. There is a very large common room with a full kitchen available for your use. Also, the breakfast was wonderful. It consisted of a large buffet of meats, cheeses, eggs, fresh fruit, juices, breads, and pastries. Breakfast was also included in the price. We didn't realize how close I Coppi is to San Gimignano. I recommend parking at I Coppi and walking the 5 minutes to town. If we go back to Italy, we'll stay at I Coppi again!

What a dilemma! Do we really want to risk future high demand for this property by sharing our wonderful experience with the world? Anna and family are great hosts and her breakfasts are second to none. The views are magnificent, the rooms (all ground floor) are of high quality and are very comfortable and the location is superb with an all be it short, but uphill walk into the amazing San Gimignano. There's a great delicatessen over the road should you decide to just stay home and relax on the large terrace soaking up the views with a bottle of Vernaccia. The kitchen, which came with our room was a fabulous and unexpected bonus. We had hired a car which we found to be very useful but not entirely necessary as public transport will get you to most major places of interest. On the whole, yes you've guessed it, we loved the whole experience and definatly recommend San Gimignano and "I Coppi" to everyone. Thank you Anna, VERY much!

It was the comments of previous reviewers that prompted us to book. The view is great and location good - a short stroll to a good range of restaurants and lovely town in the evening. Anna was very welcoming indeed - her breakfasts are splendid. We had a very relaxing time

We had a bit problem finding I Coppi but the host and hostest were kind enough to drive to the place we were and lead us to I Coppi. Anna and her husband are very pleasant people. I Coppi has a beautiful view outside and the room was clean and well equipped. Breakfast was included in the price(75 euro) and it was the best I had comparing to the other hotels I have stayed in. I would definitely go there again.

We went to San Gimignanmo to see a beautifule old city, but we also got a perfect room with a view to die for and the most delicious breakfast. We would also like to thank to owners, miss Anna and her housband, for their hospitality. It was a very plesant expirience and much more that we expected. I would recommend I Coppi to everyone who wants to see something beyond the old city.

I Coppi si trovano a poca distanza dalla cerchia muraria di San Gimignano, ma già in aperta campagna toscana. La vista - su una valle - è splendida, anche se la stagione invernale (18-21 dicembre) e il tempo non ce l'hanno fatta apprezzare adeguatamente. Si tratta di una casa recente in cui sono stati ricavati appartamenti indipendenti. Il nostro era composto da una camera da letto comoda, un bel bagno con doccia e una cucina piuttosto ampia. Tutto praticamente nuovo e molto funzionale. Il riscaldamento si è dimostrato efficiente, così come l'acqua sempre calda. Quasi di fronte a I Coppi si trova un negozio di alimentari piuttosto fornito, mentre un supermercato Coop è a pochi km (dall'altra parte della città). I nostri ospiti, la signora Anna e la madre Nicoletta, sono stati gentili e premurosi. Il rapporto qualità /prezzo è molto buono. Non è stato possibile pagare con carta di credito (solo contanti). Sicuramente una sistemazione da riprovare nella bella stagione e da usare come base per una visita alle località della zona: San Gimignano, Volterra, Monteriggioni, Siena, ecc.

This place was AMAZING. The best that we stayed in all of Italy (we were there from New Zealand for 4 weeks). Highly recommended with a view to die for, out of the bustle of the town centre but not too far. There is a great superette across the road, the breakfasts provided are huge and really yummy. We stayed as two couples so it made it very cost effective, the hosts were wonderful, there is no doubt where I would stay again and tell my friends. The town is also very very charming, great ceramics and gelato.

We had a very relaxing and pleasant stay at I Coppi. Owners of property are very hospitable and friendly and saerve a breakfast that isw unprecented in quality. We felt very welcome. One point of criticism: venere.com site indicated that price of b&b of E 69/night was including breakfast. In reality this proved not to be the case. Extra E 12 was added on E 69 for breakfast.

i coppi was the best place we have ever stayed at. the lady, anna, was a great hostess. the room was beautiful and also had the most amazing view of tuscany. we highly reccommend this location, but if you do stay at i coppi you must have breakfast there-you will be very pleasantly surprised.
