I spent the first two nights in a room marked "private" outside, where the water wouldn't evacuate in the shower, the airconditionning didn't work, the advertised DVD function didn't work, there was so little space in some parts of the room that you first had to close one door to be able to open the other... fortunately I was later given another room, as they couldn't fix the airconditioner. The person who travelled with me occupied another room where the window opened up into a cleaning cabinet...! After the first night, we were asked to move out of our two "single" rooms into one double room - for just one night... we obviously refused that! Another morning I had to leave my room and have breakfast in my friend's stuffy room (there are no breakfast facilities so it's served in the rooms) as they were trying to fix the airconditioner.. For payment, in the end, they wouldn't accept our credit cards, as apparently "it didn't work" that day... we had to get cash from a cash machine!! I do not recommend this place for the above-mentioned reasons - otherwise its location is great!! and the second room I occupied was nice + friendly - so if you're lucky and get a good room... why not?

We are a family of 2 adults and 3 children under the age of 4. To start with the hotel is a little difficult to spot, but if you look out for the street number rather than a hotel sign you will have no problems. They were extremely accomodating and placed us into there biggest room. It was the best hotel room we had seen in the whole 5 weeks we toured Italy, it had a working LCD screen TV that also doubled as a Computer with high speed internet, and the room had a double bed, a single bed and a fold out single bed with still room to spare, the shower also had body massaging jets. The location was very good in relation to getting to all the "noted" sights of Rome. The one thing that was unimpressive is the fact they don't serve breakfast they give you a coupon for 1 coffee and 1 croissant at a cafe down the road. NOT good for children who want to eat cereal and yoghurt etc. BUT there is a fridge in the room so we ended up buying our own breakfasts and storing it in the fridge. Then we would use the coupon as a "dessert" morning tea type thing. Overall it was a fantastic and friendly hotel, we would definatley recommend it and stay there again. I do want to add that I thought it was a little pricey, but with the added extra's in the rooms that you normally don't find in hotel rooms it did soften the blow a little.

As you can see we were very dissapointed with the hotel.we wondered if any one from your company had ever actually seen it.We paid for bed and breakfast there was no food or drink actually available at the Augusta had to go down the street to coffee shop with voucher!Shower flooded each time we used it bedroom very cold and damp. This hotel should not be advertised as a 3star Bet your glad you asked! Only good point it was in a good position for sight seeing though we would never have found it if we had not taken a taxi. Rome was beautiful.

La recepción del hotel está en el segundo piso. El desayuno se hace en una cafeteria de las cercanías. Solo café y croissant.

The hotell is small, situated on the second floor with only a modest sign at the entrance from the street. There is an elevator, but you have to carry your luggage a few steps in the stair anyway. For breakfast you get a ticket for a café across the street, where you can have a meagre continental brakfast. There are really no public areas in the hotel, except the small reception and a corridor. Aside from this, the hotel is very good value. The triple room we got was clean, quiet and nicely furnished. The reception personel were nice and helpful, and the reception is manned around the clock. Air condition did work, as did the internet connected computer. The surroundings are nice, with several good small restaurants within five minutes walking distance. There is a taxi station 50 meters from the hotel entrance, and several buses traffic the street outside. If this kind of hotel suits your needs, I would surely recommend it.

The Agustus was our last night in Rome after two weeks of travel throughou Italy. I booked it on Venere at 4:00 P.M. the same day. It was everything our First Hotel was arriving into Rome but 70 Euros per night cheaper. 90 vs 160 Euros per night. I would stay here anytime. Night manager even lent us an umbrella for a late night gelato run.

We stayed there 2 nights. The first was great-no doubles were available so we were put into a nice, fresh and clean, spacious triple room with a lovely big window. The second night we were moved to a double, which had a filthy stained carpet, balcony with cigarette butts and ashtray on (YUCK!!!) and a really small room with no window. The shower has great water pressure and is nice and hot - and is one of those fancy ones with lots of valves for an all over wash; it's a pity that it did not work properly. Breakfast was in a friendly little Italian cafe round the corner

What a great little hotel! The furnishings and especially the free unlimited internet in your room made this hotel stay very comfortable. Tucked away a short walk from the best sights of Rome, the rooms were very elegantly and traditionally presented (if a little small), with all the modern comforts. For the low price I paid it was extreemly good value.

We spent 2 nights (27-28Apr.'05) paying 75Euro/night - not bad for a 3 star hotel in centre Rome ! (you'd have to find the rooms at the second level of an old building, it's not a hotel with a grand entrance plus restaurant and all that !, but compare: I paid 58Euro/night for a double room at bed&breakfast, 5 nights in May, nice place though..) Very clean and well maintained rooms, access to TV-cable, computer and Internet - who needs them when you visit places all day long ?!:). Easy access to main plazzas/monuments by bus or tram (4Euro/one_day_pass), even walking 'cause you've got lots to see.Business area in the neighborhood, with many restaurants, grocery stores and shops (go a bit farther and you find even cheaper places for lunch/dinner). We weren't welcomed very well (waiting for an hour at reception), but that's pretty much the only issue. If you get this deal, or better, go for it ! D & V

The only problem was the incredubly slow receptionist, we almost didn't catch our plane becuase of her. She had to talk to someone on the phone for 15 minutes about something that claerly could wait, and we had to interrupt her finally. They aren't nice, but the room was perfect.

Overall the stay was good for last minute booking. They say on the website that they have private parking for guest, they had no private parking. YOu had to find your own way around to find a parking spot. Other then that it was good for what we needed at the time.

We toured Italy and stayed at many hotels. This was the worst one by far. The hotels name is not located on the building therefore we has trouble finding its location. The room was awkward. The toilet was so close to the shower that one could not fully sit on it and the seat was broken. One has to be buzzed into the building to enter, on one occasion we were stranded outside because no one heard the buzzer. We had trouble sleeping because the wall were paper thin and the hotel manager was loud throughout the night. Overall it was our worst traveling experience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
