reception Town House Suite Da Silvia reception The property is locate in Riomaggiore, the first of the 5 Terre villages. Setting off from La Spezia, the first village you encounter is Riomaggiore, which boasts the typical terraced structure of villages in torrential valleys, with steep sides and restricited valley floor.
Riomaggiore is connected to the other villages by the path n. 2, the so called blue path, by trains and boats.
All Da Silvia's rooms are well equipped with all comforts: private bathroom with shower, hairdryer, fan, minibar and Tv.
The rooms are located on 3 floors. We don't provide any breakfast service.

Silvia was very welcoming and I am so thankful to her husband who carried our suitcase up the 69 steps! We had a cute little apartment that was right off the main street, next to the cutest restaurants.

Good place to stay - can be a little busy but then all four villages have plenty of tourists but you can get off the beaten track if you wonder the streets. Cinique Terre is definitely worth a visit. Okay value as its clean and the room we had was on two floors with a balcony. The place you stay in though is a few mintues walk up hill from the reception.

The apartment we stayed n was newly renovated and a good standard. It was near the top of the town so is not suitable for anyone with difficulties on steep hills and stairs. There is a nice balcony but no view of the water. Overall a solid place to stay for a few nights and not bad for the price. Beware the restaurant that you get a discont at is VERY touristy and VERY average. Eat at the enotecca by the water for a lovely spot with great wine, service and food.

Tip; go to Monterosso rather than Riomaggiore - it is much nicer. Maybe not the owners fault but we spent ages climbing stairs looking for a wrongly provided address. The room is newly renovated but charmless and strange; it is white tile and laminate, long and skinny. Also, in the bedroom, it sounds like the neighbors are actually walking around in the same room as you.
