We felt very welcomed. we stayed three days and were amazed about little details: free drinks, free internet, very spaceous rooms, good support for meals and restaurants.

We enjoyed our stay. Good proximity to most sites. Busy corner. No staff at night. Attic quad room w. strange layout involving transiting thru WC & only skylights, not windows. Breakfast quite good tho seemed understaffed at peak time. Not as big or posh as had appeared but still very nice. Wld definitely recommend.

Very nice B&B situated in the centre of the old city, close to many sites. Very efficient and extremely pleasant staff. Some rooms are much nicer than others. Try to get one overlooking the garden. Good breakfast in a beautiful (too small !) room.

My daughter and I loved our stay at Villa Santa Maria in Foris. The interior is stylish and will especially suit people with an eye for design. The breakfast offered abundant delicious, good quality foods. Excellent value for money. The staff were genuinely helpful. The computer with internet connection, freely available to guests was a real plus. We would certainly stay here again and recommend it highly.

Good location - close to all "Mosaic Monuments". Nice hotel with helpful staff. Rooms are spacious and clean. We can recommend the hotel! Only one negative point - the doors are not sound-proof at all - in particular if your room neighbour slams the door...

the most strange thing in this hotel, that it is not having safebox inside the room. the safe box in the hotel is shared, and the one who had the key can open it without attendence of the guest. this should be taken in consideration to provide safe box in all rooms.

Ravenna is a lovely little Adriatic beachside city and the Villa Santa Maria is a cosy old and well-maintained place to use as your home base. We used this overnight as a stopping point along our way by car from Rome to Venice, and I am grateful the Venere.com reviews led me here. Rooms and bathrooms were large and clean with lovely decor. A computer is available for your use in the main first floor hall. Paid parking is one block away (4 minute walk.) Breakfast choices were plentiful in a nice setting upstairs. You can walk everywhere in town. Bar/restaurants were open past midnight and you can purchase a bottle of wine over the counter there. Ask the concierge for their map and directions to the historic sites where you will see Byzantine style murals designed of tiny and shiny mosaic pieces. They are simply amazing and different from mural and mosaic styles in other parts of Italy. Many of these examples are an easy walk from the hotel. Enjoy!

Ottima accoglienza, personale disponibile e competente, la stanza è stata all'altezza delle aspettative, e, considerando che l'hotel si trova proprio al centro di Ravenna, il prezzo più che equo. Nota di merito al personale per la disponibilità nell'aiutarmi a risolvere un problema "meccanico" alla mia autovettura (guastatasi proprio sotto l'albergo). Ci tornerò sicuramente.

L'albergo è carino ed il personale è molto gentile e simpatico ma manca un servizio di reception notturno e se si arriva dopo le 21 è un problema accedere all'hotel. Inoltre la camera (la rosa bianca) non era molto pulita e non era decisamente bella come nelle foto. Alla fine dei conti un albergo senza troppe pretese, (nessuna residenza da sogno), ma il prezzo è un pò alto per quanto offerto. ------------------------------------------ Hotel is nice and staff is nice and kind. But rooms are not as beautiful as you can see in the pictures (i was in la rosa bianca room) and the room was not clean enought. there is not nocturnal reception service, so if you arrive after 21:00 you have serious problems to get in. Basically it is a good 3 stars hotel but price is a little high for what you get.

This is an excellant property with service and quality way above the price. It's a gem. Delicious and expansive breakfast, free bikes--but you can walk to everything. What a find!
