Just EXCELENT! It is close to the city centre and a metro station. Has a lift. Very nice room with a balcony and a great view over the town. Breakfast + every day cleaning are included. Reception ladies can speak English quite well and a couple of times it was very helpful indeed. Unfortunatelly, we had noisy neighbours that were smoking and talking loud on the balcony late at night. Has no conditioner.

We were pleased with the imformative staff, yet the room was very outdated. The breakfast was not much more than a snack. The location was great for getting around town a short walk to the escalators...really short walk. Thank-you, Katalina and David ps..there was no wifi service in our room, only the lobby!

A wonderful place to stay. The owners were extremely helpful. They gave us many wonderful tips and also booked a hotel for us in our next city. The room was large and had a tremendous view. The breakfast was okay, but nothing spectacular. It is in a good spot. It is close to the bus station and a 10-15 minute walk to the center.

This was a great place to stay, because it was a 2-block walk to the downtown. It was safe to walk at night. It was close to restaurants & shopping. The staff went out of their way to assist us.

The view from our room over the valley was breathtaking! Nice room and great service. Very close to the city by one long escalator up to the old city. We left very early when we left Perugia so we got a little box with breakfast to take with us. Very nice.

First time in Perugia, it was fun to take the escalator (scala mobile) from the public lot across the street into the upper city. Still takes a 5 minute inclined walk to reach the main plaza. Private parking is convenient. Older structure and furnishings are charming. Stained windows with the view shown in photos are exceptional. They will keep traffic noise out if closed. Shower would be better if the head moved flexibly (telephone type). Staff was knowledgable about the city and very helpful. Buffet breakfast included coffee brewer to order and fresh pastry. Only problem was finding a sign on the correct building, more difficult if driving. It would help to know that the Residenza is on floors above the Hotel Europa, which is more visible.

The hotel and location was very good and the staff were very welcoming, however we had requested a non-smoking room. The room we were given smelled slightly smoky but more of joss sticks! We would have asked to move but were aware that it was full.

this hotel was not easy to find on going up viale Pellini I would recommend that a more visible indication is put aside the entrance gate.

We stayed here for 6 days, the room was large as in the photos. It is across from the escalator up into the town. Nancy was fantastic and nothing was a bother to her (even though she doesn't speak English.) Very clean. We enjoyed our stay here very much.

Well placed next to the escalator to go up to the centre of Perugia, easy to find and the parking was next to the hotel but they charged us 5 euro which is unusual for hotel parking. The breakfast was in a delightful dining room and there was a large choice of fresh food and lovely coffee, a good start to the day.

The over quality and service of this bed and breakfast was excellent. I couldn't have asked for a better deal. The hospitality of the woman who helped us with check-in and check-out was great. Without us even asking her to do so, she looked up the train schedule for our next destination for the following day. I had been to Perugia before and stayed at a hotel right in the center. Not only did I pay more at that other hotel but I didn't get any sleep because were near main street and the staff would wake you up with all of their talking! Residenza Minervae was quiet and friendly. Definitely worth the money! I have to say I was a bit concerned when I read comments about the breakfast. After having tried the breakfast, I can now say that what this bed and breakfast served was more than satisfactory for Italian standards of breakfast.

This was a great value for the money. It was right at the base of the escalators which makes getting up the hills easier. Katia was terrific and set up a chocolate tour at Perugina let us know the exact bus to get on across the street and how to get back. She provided a great guide book for us to use on our visit to Asissi. She was a delight. The rooms are spacious.. A kitchen was available if we wanted to rent it as well. Breakfast was nice. Katia made our stay very welcoming.

The rooms at Alla Residenza Domus Minervae are quaint, clean and excellently located right near the escalator up to the beautiful old town of Perugia. The hotel owner was very friendly and had excellent English, her staff were friendly and helpful.

The owners were extremely helpful and provided assistance beyond their responsibility. Our car broke down and the owners contacted the rental company and drove us to pick up another vehicle. Very, very kind people.

Our room was comfortable; not fancy but adequate. The staff were helpful. Next time I will make advance reservations for language and culture classes which they offer. The location was perfect for the historical city center and Eurochocolate which was our reason to be in Perugia. The top floor apt. was spacious and would easily accomodate a family.

We have one suggestion for this hotel. The breakfasts we think could be improved. Tea and coffee from breakfast came from a vending machine and long life milk is used. Particulary being in Italy where they know how to make good coffee this was very disappointing. It also seemed strange considering the Domus Minervae also offer cooking courses.

price was high because they seems to charge by room but finally charged by person!

Great value. Outside the old city but just near escalators built for public access that take you directly to the top of the hill and into the centre of old Perugia. The Building doesn't look like much from the outside. There are two hotels operating out fo the same building on a fairly plain looking street, but the rooms were large, clean, nice, great views and great value because its so close but not in the old city. The reception staff were really friendly and helped with maps and buses etc. I recommend this place and would definitely use them again.

Our stay at Domus Minervae was largely successful due to the efforts of owner-manager Katia who spoke perfect English, took special interest in all her clients, and was familiar and justifiably proud of her hometown Perugia.

Very nice, spacious and clean B&B in the centre of Perugia near a easy-fitting Parking place (only the breakfast could be a little bit better). The place it's absolutely advisable.

Nice and homy B&B, with a warm welcoming ! Large and pretty rooms ! Unfortunately, not all the staff spoke English, there was no parking space available (as opposed to mentioned on the website), no air conditionning, and the rooms could get noisy at night because af a bar located nearby. However I would definitely recommend the place as a very good quality vs. price one !
