Locanda is clean, quiet, comfortable, cleverly decorated small hotel on the waterfront, with a "bed and breakfast feel". Rooms are very spacious with great bathrooms, modern with nice linens. Hotel is a bit of a walk to train station with a 5-10 minute ride to center of Naples. Several good restaurants nearby. Staff were very kind and helpful, to us, a group of American travelers who had only a short time in Naples to visit after a sailing trip. I would not recommend it for families with children. A very small lift, complex access through a condominium building,and the distance to historic sights would make it a challenge.

By car
Take the Fuorigrotta exit from the tangenziale ring-road and follow signs to Piazzale Tecchio-Centro-Mergellina. Then follow the indications for P.zza Sannazzaro and Via F. Caracciolo.

By train
From the Stazione Centrale railway station, take underground line 2 (direction Pozzuoli) and get off at Mergellina stop. Via Caracciolo is just 200 metres from there.
