The rooms are exactly what we expected from the pictures - clean, elegant, very accommodating, especially the stylish teapot and IKEA coffee mug/plate set in each room, with abundant supply of tea/coffee bags every day, which made our stay a pleasant experience. I love the decors! Gianna does a good job designing every room with details that match the city’s renaissance flavor. Location is great, close to Piazza San Marco and Accademia Gallery. There is no breakfast but nearby there are bars and grocery. A self-service laundromat is just next door. I would recommend this B&B to anyone who is looking for a hotel in Florence and appreciates the value of being treated special.

How to reach Townhouse Suite Lanterna Fiorentina

By car
From A1 motorway, exit at "Firenze Sud". Follow signs to the centre and Piazza della Libertà. take via Lorenzo il Magnifico. At the traffic lights, turn left, into Via Poliziano. Straight on, passing the traffic lights, cross a large avenue and enter via S. Caterina d'Alessandria.

From A1 highway, exit at "Firenze Nord". Follow signs to the Centro- Fortezza da Basso. When you reach Fortezza da Basso, take Viale Lavagnini. At the first traffic lights, turn right into via S.Caterina d'Alessandria.

By train
From Santa Maria Novella Station, take via Nazionale, turn right into Piazza Indipendenza square and take via XXVII Aprile. The B&B is located a few metres ahead.
