My wife and I were initially disappointed to find that we were not given the room (with a view) we requested and reserved. However, your excellent manager, Maurizio d'Agostino, managed to make up for the oversight. By the end of our visit we were fans of La Ninfa. Our only suggestion would be an improved breakfast - perhaps with cheese or eggs or meat.

When we arrived, Mauricio was super friendly and welcoming. We fell in love with our room immediately- it was #5, the one with the balcony and window/ocean view in the room and bathroom (be aware that it is the only room with a balcony, and not all rooms have an ocean view, so make sure to request #5). We loved having showers while looking out at the ocean and the yachts! So surreal! The service and facility were top notch, and the location was AMAZING! We could have done a whole vacation just at Amalfi, staying at La Ninfa. The beach and elevator to the beach cost (15 euros each), and our room wasn't overly cheap, but it was all worth the splurging for such an awe-inspiring experience! Mauricio and Maria were always present to help, and they even recommended a nearby restaurant that had amazing food, outstanding service and free shuttle. If you can, take a ferry from Naples to Amalfi instead of bus or train- it was so beautiful, but takes about 2 hrs (and costs 15 euros a person). Almafi's main square looks like something straight out of a fairytale, and the towns nearby (Ravello, Positano) are worth touring too! Yet, we always looked forward to coming back to our room at night to sit out on the balcony and star gaze, listening to the ocean. We can't say enough- it was a dream come true!

On arrival Maurizio couldn't have been more helpful!! We arrived very early and he had our room prepared very quickly. We really appreciated this flexibility,also we decided to stay a third night and again Maurizio rearranged his bookings to accomodate us.The only criticism was that our room was under the common area..this meant it got very noisy during the night..also the mattress had collapsed and could/should have been replaced long ago. Altogether...the views were unbelievable & staff very friendly.If you can try to visit Ravello...we loved it.

How to reach Townhouse Suite La Ninfa

By car
From Rome: take the motorway A1 Milano-Napoli direction south, follow the signs for the motorway A3 Pompei-Salerno-Reggio Calabria and exit at Castellammare di Stabia.

By train
The hotel is 20 km from the Salerno railway station and 50 km from the Napoli Centrale railway station.

By airplane
The hotel is easy to reach from the Napoli Capodichino airport, which is around 50 km away: take the highway A3 Pompei-Salerno-Reggio Calabria and exit at Castellammare di Stabia, following the indications to Sorrento. After the first gallery exit at Agerola-Amalfi. After Agerola, proceed until the crossing with the Costiera Amalfitana. Turn left and after 50 metres on the right you will find Maison La Ninfa.

By boat
The hotel is 2 km from the Amalfi harbour.
