I was disappointed as the website stated that the rooms have a minibar fridge. And I'd brought some perishable items which didn't stay fresh in my room. When I checked in I had to ask the employee why he was bending my credit card - he tried to tell me that wasn't valid - when in fact it was. Otherwise the room was fine for a place to sleep that was near the conference rooms.

Climate control in individual rooms is very poor/you could only have heating or air conditioning on; there was no fresh air with fan control and windows were sealed. Also, air conditioning was only on 2 minutes before heated air came on because outside air was cool. Unbelievably stuffy and overheated were the rooms. Otherwise the rooms were lovely.

The hotel was adequate to spend a night in after 36 hours traveling from Australia, it was clean and close to the airport with no noise from planes after 11pm.

Very disapointed with this hotel because of unacceptable amount of noise by other guests at 0230 in the morning. We were looking forward to a good nights sleep after a long flight from NZ.

Hotel carino abbastanza vicino a heathrow, servito anche dai mezzi pubblici gratuiti, ottimo per stare una notte in attesa di un volo. Camere spaziose e ben curate, ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo, peccato per il personale in reception: molto sgarbato! Nice hotel, quit close to heathrow airport, value for the money, good room, but bad service and bad reception staff.

reception excellent, tiny lounge nicely decorated and very nice patio. but rooms are extremely small with not much place to put clothes away. bathroom very good but tub is very high and could not accommodate older persons.no coffee in room. location convenient with buses and two metro stations nearby

Tired hotel badly in need of an upgrade. Bath room ceiling was moldy with peeling paint. Avoid this hotel.

By car
From the west via the M4:
At junction 5 (A40/B470) leave the motorway and at the roundabout take the A4 toward Colnbrook. Travel along the A4 and follow signs for Heathrow and Hounslow. Turn right at the traffic lights toward M25/Heathrow Airport/Staines. After approximately 300 metres, at the next roundabout take the first exit onto Old Bath Road. Travel through Longford Village and the hotel will be 250 metres ahead on the right.
From London via the M4:
At junction 4 of the M4, take the first exit toward Heathrow Terminals 1,2 and 3. At the next roundabout take the second exit signposted Terminal 4. After approximately 30 metres, take the first exit off the roundabout signposted exit Slough A4. At the traffic lights, turn left onto the A4 toward Staines. Travel along Bath Road and just before McDonalds and the Total petrol station turn left onto Old Bath Road. The hotel is located 100 metres ahead on the left.
From M40/M25 Junction 15:
At the M40 junction 1A (joining the M25) follow signs for Heathrow. Stay on the M25 to junction 15 and join the M4 heading towards Heathrow and London. At junction 4 of the M4 take the third exit on the right and follow signs for Terminals 1,2 and 3. At the next roundabout take the second exit signposted Terminal 4. After approximately 30 metres, take the first exit off the roundabout signposted exit Slough A4. At the traffic lights, turn left onto the A4 toward Staines. By train
Take the Heathrow Express from Paddington Railway Station, or the Piccadilly underground line, to Heathrow Airport. From the airport you can catch the Hoppa bus which will take you to the Thistle London Heathrow Hotel.
By airplane
From Heathrow Airport terminals 1, 2 and 3 catch the Hoppa bus to the hotel. From terminal 4 take the Heathrow Express to the main terminal building (free) then catch the Hoppa bus to the Thistle London Heathrow Hotel. The airport is 1 mile/1.6 km away.
