Val Gardena is an Italian ski resort in the province of Bolzano, South Tyrol. It’s part of the Dolomiti Superski Area and features over 176 km (109 mi) of slopes.
Useful Ski Info: Thanks to the connection with the Sellaronda ski resort there is a lot to do besides skiing here. Activities include snowboarding, nordic walking, horseback riding, tobogganing, and ice skating. One of the livelier resorts in Europe, Val Gardena has plenty to offer when it comes to après-ski time, especially in the cities of Ortisei, Santa Cristina and Selva di Val Gardena.
Lifts & Slopes in Val Gardena: 80 lifts and 176 km (109 mi) of slopes. Slopes include 34 blue, 67 red, and 11 black. The most famous ones are the Sella Ronda - where you can ski the entire day without taking off your skis once! - and the Alpine Skiing World Cup slope known as the Saslong.
Ski pass Info: The Dolomiti Superski pass gives you access to 12 different ski areas and 1220 km (758 mi) of slopes. The Val Gardena-Alpi di Siusi ski pass gives you access to 79 lifts and 175 km (109 mi) of slopes.
