Val D’Ayas is a ski area within the Monterosa Ski network in the Aosta Valley. The valley lies at the foot of the Monte Rosa and is home to resorts such as Champoluc Frachey, Antagnod, and Brusson.
Useful Ski Info: Champoluc offers great off-piste terrain for expert skiers and is also good for families with kids as it features 2 baby parks (Crest Park and Pinguino Park). If you are a beginner Antagnod is a good option as it is mostly bunny slopes, while Brusson is great for cross-country skiing with its Three Villages Trail and two rinks for experts skiers.

Skipass Info: Both the Aosta Valley seasonal ski pass and the single ski passes for each resort will give you access to the slopes. Alternatively, you can opt for the Monterosa ski pass.

Several towns are situated within Val d'Ayas, including Monterosa and Antagnod, where a relaxing après-ski cocktail can be enjoyed. The most recommended après-cocktail spot is Champoluc. Considered to be the largest resort in Monterosa, the village consists of amazing glacier sights and several craft shops perfect for souvenir shopping. The authenticity of the village adds a touch of historic ambiance, making you feel like you're truly in Italy as opposed to another tourist destination.
Peaceful during the week, unwinding with an après-ski cocktail in Champoluc is the perfect way to end an active day. On the weekend, the area is more lively with weekender skiers as well as live music.
