Alta Badia is a ski resort in the heart of the Dolomites, south-east South Tyrol. The resort is part of the Dolomiti Superski Area, close to the resorts of Val Gardena, Val Pusteria and Val di Fassa.
Useful Ski Info: There is plenty to do here besides downhill skiing! You can horseback ride, go snowshoeing, ice-skate and even heli-ski! For snowboard lovers there is a snow park by the Ciampai slope, in the San Cassiano area. The village of Corvara is a good nightlife spot, with delicious local restaurants and lively bars.
Lifts and Slopes in Alta Badia: 53 lifts and about 130 km (80 mi) of slopes. Slopes include 28 blue, 20 red, 2 black. One of the most famous slopes is the Gran Risa, recommended for expert skiers only. It cuts into the woods and has several steep walls. For a more panoramic ski run, don’t miss the red Armentarola slope.
