North-west of the province of Trento and close to the Stelvio National Park is Val di Sole, a popular Italian ski destination which includes the areas of Campiglio, Adamello Skiand Pejo 3000.

Lifts and Slopes in Val di Sole: 115 lifts and more than 300 km (186 mi) of slopes over the 3 main ski areas of the valley. Slopes include 44 blue, 36 red, and 15 black.
Some of the most famous ones in the area are the 3 Tre, also known as Canalone Miramonti, and the panoramic red slope known as Salizzona. The DoloMitica and the Nera di Folgarida are great for expert skiers looking for a challenge.

Weather in Val di Sole: Snow is guaranteed during winter, and temperatures often go to subzero during this season. Most of the ski runs stay open in late autumn and early spring as well, thanks to snowmaking.
The Skirama ski pass at Val di Sole is an affordable way for guests to enjoy an incredible array of slopes for one low price. The Skirama pass is valid for 14 consecutive days of skiing. Guests receive access to over 380 kilometers of downhill ski runs as well as 150 aerial ski lifts.
In addition to using the Skirama pass at the Val di Sole ski area, visitors can also ski at Madonna di Campiglio, Folgarida-Marilleva, Tonale-Ponte di Legno, Peio, Pinzolo, Folgaria-Lavarone, Monte Bondone, Andalo and Fai della Paganella for no additional cost. There are slopes for all levels of skiers and visitors of all ages.
The Val di Sole area is a great choice for the entire family to vacation, including children of all ages. At Val di Sole, there are many facilities and activities geared toward children. The ski school offers lessons to children who have never been on skis before. Older kids who could use a refresher course can also get a ski lesson.
At the snow park, kids can try the outdoor playground, which features inner tubes for sledding down the slopes, magic carpet rides and inflatable toys. When the kids need to warm up, the indoor playground is fully staffed by experienced childcare workers who can watch the kids.
