Traveler Stories

Why I love Riviera delle Palme

I have seen much of Italy while traveling, but I haven’t seen anything as beautiful as the Riviera delle Palme.

Though this is not the most well-known Riviera area of Italy, it was certainly a good choice when I wanted to get away from the crowds, and it is even more stunning than areas like the Riviera di Ponente.

One thing I will never forget about the Riviera delle Palme is my stay in Varigotti, one of the small towns in the region. Looking back while sitting on the beach, I saw rows of colored homes in shades of yellow, orange and red. Admiring these homes with the backdrop of the blue Ligurian Sea is a sight that I will never forget; the word "serene" perfectly sums up the feeling of being in such a special location.
