Hotel Swissôtel Zürich - Oerlikon, Zurich

Excellent hotel with good service level. Good location for us (although not in the tourist centre of the city) Pool and spa area was lovely. Restaurant needs improvement in service level and in food quality compared to price charged. Wifi charges are too much - it should be complimentary in a hotel like this.

For some strange reason every morning a man would barge into our room without knocking to check about the mini-bar refilling with the master key. Apart from this we had a very nice stay in terms of location,room,breakfast etc..

A nice place to stay in Zurich that did not cost a fortune. It was right next to a train line so it was a cheap 10 minute ride to the train on departure day. The amenities were great and the hotel staff at the door were more than accommodating. The rooms offered a great view of the city (we were on the 15th flr), a really nice shower/bathroom area along with a flat panel tv, stationary, mini bar and coffee station for a great price. Did I mention you can order pillows from their sleep menu? A little swankier than we are used to, but a nice option that we utilized. Dinner for room service and in the restaurant on the ground floor was very tasty and prompt. For the price, and based on the limited amount of searching we did, this would be a place to stay again if we found ourselves in Zurich.

It was my first time traveling alone, and I made some great choices. The staff was friendly, and very helpful! I plan on staying with their sister hotel in Germany next year, and with them whenever I go to Zurich!

Both tram & train are across the street which makes it very convenient thought the hotel is not situated at city center. Train station is particular important if one would like to visit other cities around Zurich. Airport is just one stop away by train. A Chinese restaurant nearby serves decent simple dishes.

Very nice hotel, about 10min from Zurich Central, with frequent trams and train. Also, very well located to go to and from the airport.

This hotel was much further away from city than advertised. the staff not very friendly and quite useless as far as directon etc. the swiss people in general i found quite rude, but the city itself is stunning, with beautiful views of the alps.

We had a wonderful stay at Swisshotel Zürich! The service was fenomenal, the swiss are delightful people. This stay really made our vacation superb. We travelled trough several countries, but this was our best visit.

After staying in a much costlier hotel with no a/c, it was finally nice to get quiet and much needed rest. The amenities were superb. Staying there next time even though a trolly car ride to Zurich.

I was unable to use my old (backup) non-wireless computer during my stay because there were no internet (LAN) cables availble. Hence despite the free wireless system I had to use my expensive mobile phone. One of your questions is written in italian so I don;t know what it's asking. I'll guess

Overpriced, rooms small, but clean and quiet. effecient in the best swiss tradition. a little far from downtown (15 min by tram)

Seeing Polish car registration and Polish passport they immediately blocked my credit card. I lost about CHF 900 for 14 days as I payed for the hotel with cash (they don't accept Maestro). Check your bill carefully before paying and leaving that place!

I have been very happy with he overall service.Your staff is wonderfull and very helpfull.Location is great.But the rooms are relativly spoken small,considering the price.In the USA rooms are more spacious for the price offered. Sono stato 4 notti in questo albergo e mi sono trovato veramente bene. Appena entrato nella stanza al 16esimo piano (ascensore ultraveloce e silenziosissimo!!) ho trovato nella televisione un messaggio personalizzato di benvenuto, poca cosa ma fa grande effetto.. Tutto completamente in ordine danno praticamente tutto nella camera e ogni giorno controllano che tutto sia a posto non facendoti mancare niente. Poi la stazione che è proprio davanti ti porta ovunque e in 5 minuti (compresa l'attesa del treno) sei in centro. Intorno all'albergo ci sono dei centri commerciali e vari negozi

This hotel was lovely, the room was clean and nice, and the staff was helpful and friendly. I would absolutely stay here again. Room service meals were a little pricey, but other than that, I had a great stay.

We spend a weekend there and stay in a superio room, no breakfast. The hotel is clean and modern, well connected by train to the center (7 minutes). The Spa it's a jewel....on the roof, very clean, brand new, well equipped. It is free for all hotel guests. The superior room have a cd/dvd player and a Lavazza machine for free Espresso Coffee. A sort of coffee is offered (not free) by Starbucks shop in the lobby...

Topmodernes Tagungshotel, nur 1 Minute vom Bahnhof Zürich-Oerlikon mit bester Bahnverbindung in die City, auch für Privatreisende wirklich zu empfehlen. Einziger kleiner Nachteil: vollklimatisiert, Fenster nicht zu öffnen

Excellent hotel. Targetted for mid to high end business travellers - and so more than enough facilities for everything. Free 30 mins daily internet use in the internet room near the lobby. Excellent clean well decorared and well maintained rooms - the kind you would expect from a good business hotel. Extremely professional staff. To reach the hotel from the main railway station, there are very frequent "S" trains (like local trains) that leave for Oerlikon station, 2 stops and 10 mins from the main railway station. The hotel is right across the Oerlikon station. The price was a little steep compared to our other hotels, but still cannot complain since it came to about USD 125 which is about the same or LESS than how much one would pay for a similar hotel in the US.

Very good price for this expensive town (159CHF/double room). Easy connections to central part, by train in 10 min. I would take the same option if to go again and recommend it to those who look for a good quality/price relationship.

Value for money. Location is outside of city but still convenient because it is located just next to a train station (10 minutes to city centre).

Excellent location for the Hallenstadion and not bad for the City Centre (5 minutes from the train station next door). We had a problem with the airport shuttle (it left the airport early and we missed it) and initially the front desk staff were unhelpful and unapologetic. After a further complaints the Duty Manager was very nice to us and sent a bowl of fruit to our room as an apology! Not bad value (in an expensive City) at 159CHF for a double

Really great week-end at swissotel. Right price, excellent service and fabolous 'amrita fitness center' with a swimming pool on 32nd floor with iacuzzi and beautiful view over zurich. Airport shuttle is great: in 10 minutes a free bus takes you to the hotel.

Room was very comfortable and the view of the city was also very enjoyable.

The Service Desk (or concierge) service is excellent ! The "play station on demand" needs to be improved, I was not being alerted in prior for "fees" that we have to pay for playing the play station. And the fees for play station on demand is "over price". The room is clean and have sufficient space.
