The information on Venere website is incorrect; there is an additional daily charge to use the pool/spa/exercise facility, despite the fact the spa was being repaired. Also, the hotel did not honor the Venere 4% discount, and they tried to 'down grade' us to a city-view room, when I booked a lake-view room.

We went there all de family. Our stay was very confortable, in this hotel, it has a great localitation. The only thing that it could be better was the breakfast, I mean, the relatioship between price and quality.

I stayed with my sister for four days in Chicago and enjoyed the city very much. There was a very nice restaurant just between Swissotel and Michigan Avenue, Houlihan's where we had both excellent meal and service.

I thought it was a bit overpriced, but it is Chicago and the Lollapolooza was going on. There is a construction site next door. It is on the end of the Magnificent Mile and a bit of a walk to the train station, but overall a very nice hotel with excellent amenities and a professional staff.
